screencaps by legionpossessed

The Reporter's Notebook, at the end of Wednesday's 360 was the best part of the show. Anderson could have done the rest just as well from behind a desk in NYC. I'm not big on political rhetoric so hearing the former Israeli prime minister, UN ambassador John Bolton, the spokesman for Hezbollah, etc just sounded to me like blah, blah, blah. I'm starting to tune them out because their talking points are so predictable. Barbara Starr reporting from USS Nashville was interesting. I hope they had a camera crew with her. And my new favorite Nic Robertson always has a unique vantage point, being stationed in Beirut. Other than that and of course, Anderson, I really could have watched Rock Star SuperNova and not missed much. I'm wondering how much longer Anderson will stay on Cypress? Is he just marking time until he's off to The Congo? Since his coverage is supposed to start there on Monday, maybe AC will be taking a long weekend. We'll find out tomorrow night.
One more thing that bugged the heck out of me. Did you hear Bad John say 'hey Anderson' at the beginning of the first news segment? Who does he think he is, Erica Hill? The man seriously annoys me, but he does seem to get good ratings. Some people have no taste.

Just discovered this blog--it's a riot. I admire your dedication....

My only association to Anderson Cooper (i.e.: the first time I ever heard of him) is that the first interview I ever did was with his mom, Gloria Vanderbilt--and it was actually for a high school newspaper (hey! don't laugh--I won an award for it!). She talked about Anderson during the interview...

Welcome Patti. I'm truly envious of you. If I had a choice of meeting Anderson or Gloria I think I might just pick Gloria. She is really an inspiration to the interior designer in me.

Hey, you're not the only one getting a crush on Nic. Count me in! He's cute, he's gutsy, and I just flip for that accent! Ooh, too much.
