I'm going to try and look at this Andervacation as a time to clear out my inbox. I've got some Anderson stuff and non Anderson stuff that's been piling up, so hang on. It's going to be one of my ADHD type posts.
I came across this in the August 7th issue of US Weekly. I'm a little behind in my magazine reading, wonder why?
Since the current People's Sexiest Man Alive included John Robert's in the same category as Anderson, I've decided to boycott it.
Speaking of JR I had a sinking feeling, when I saw John King doing TSR, that Roberts was back from Iraq and subbing for AC. I understand that it makes sense for JK to do TSR, since he lives in the DC area. But making sense just doesn't please me. With my DH still communing with nature I had an entire week to dedicate to 360 worship. What am I going to do now?
Speaking of my dear husband, Monday was our wedding anniversary. Yea, I know he should be here to celebrate, but I laid a huge guilt trip on him and got a wonderful present. The man is a saint to put up with me and my obsession, but let's keep that between us.
A few weeks ago I bought a packet of Anderson clippings and a craft book by his mother,Gloria Vanderbilt, on eBay. It's been a treasure trove of pictures. Most aren't new but it's nice to have the original publication instead of an internet capture. In the craft book Gloria made a doll in her image. It sort of freaked me out because I remember Anderson showing a doll on the old ABC overnight news show, that looked like him. Here's Gloria's

I hope he enjoys his turkey,cause he is causing alot of heartache for your holidays. I am planning to catch up on my sleep during this Andervacation. What I want to know is just how long this vacation is going to be. He is in NOLA speaking again a week Wednesday!
I'm still blogging. The news stops for no one! I think you guys are too hard on John Roberts. Yeah, he's not my favorite, but he's okay. Now Rick Sanchez, that's another story.
Phebe, maybe I will go through all the boxes of Christmas decorations and get rid of some old stuff and begin decorating, too.
I usually have to cajole my husband and son into helping me with the outside lights.
They're hard to get to slow down because of their hunting trips here and there. (Deer and ducks!) If they aren't hunting them they are watching them on tv. Dear Lord!
It must be totally true about opposites attract. My husband and I are night and day from one another.

Phebe and xtina - thank you so much for the birthday wishes!! That was very thoughtful of you. I'm having a great birthday but it would really end on a great note if there was some live Anderson to watch tonight. I am going to be in NYC for the Thanksgiving holiday - but he's probably not! Didn't someone say on here that he hates Thanksgiving? I wonder why? Anyway, thanks again for thinking of me on my birthday.

I don't care for John Roberts because he's bland.... I like a little spice in my news ;) I'd perfer John King but I'll be honest and say I don't watch 360 if Anderson's not on. I usually end up watching the situation room and that's all the news I need for the day.

Tim Gunn - are they serious? Well, he was in the Sexiest People this week, which was just nasty, but...I just don't get it. At least Andy took the vote. ;)
@Phebe-Oh, very sick! ;) Besides his less than stellar reporting, I can't let it go that he killed someone while drunk driving. Of course Cafferty hit a biker and I love him, so I guess that makes me a hypocrite. Man, CNNers just need to stay off the road.

I got more time to go around the blog this long weekend, and thought, I'll just write something here, though it's already passed, couple of days ago, but it's interesting.
@rachel, It's in some part of Africa where they find skin color attractive.I'm not sure about other places but it's pretty serious over there (i.e when it comes to women)
