Thanks to Xtina and Flo for sending us the link to the latest Jib Jab production. Anderson Cooper is featured along with lots of other talking heads. Enjoy!

I love JibJab cartoons!!

They really hit the nail on the head with that one. At least we can sleep better at night knowing that "Crossfire" is gone from cable programming. Although, they made for some hilarious jokes on "The Daily Show" :)

i know this is out of context but rosie o'donnell makes reference to AC on her blog in comments she's made about Iran and the U.S. going to war. It says : "Anderson Cooper wake up". I don't know why she loves to be so dramatic and bullyish. I'm glad that Anderson ignores her.

all I am going to say is I hate Rosie O'Donnel....not even worth any more of my time or energy

ahhh that was pretty much perfect. i love it. the sad thing is that it's so hilarious because it's true.

@aruna: the best thing [well maybe not the best thing, but definitely the most hilarious] about crossfire being gone is that it was brought down by jon stewart. that man is my hero.

@ Megan,

That Rosie is a mess in MHO. I totally agree with you! Enough of her already!

@ Phebe,

Just sent an email to 360 asking them to PLEASE turn off the birds. I can hardly hear Anderson. Enough of the birds.

Hope the men finish the pool for you. Sounds like you are getting pavers. They are great! Just make sure they put enough sand in them before the contractor leaves if not they get "rocky." Also, red wine stains them so make sure you get them sealed. Yes, Miss Anna had a party that got a little out of control. My neighbor jumped up on the table at the pool and knocked over 6 bottles of merlot. Needless to say, it was very funny and crazy. Trust me if we had it on video, I would send it in. The contractor had to come back and replace 65 pavers because the "sealer man" had not made it to the house yet and the red wine was deemed impossible to remove. Well, Dan had quite a little bill to pay for my new tile topped table, pavers and 6 bottles of merlot. It is funny now but he could have killed himself at the pool!

New party rules, no jumping on the tables after 11 PM.

Also OT (but cute)-- not sure how much audience overlap there is between this site and Cuteoverload.com but. . . you know how Anderson said before that he wanted a pet sloth? Maybe he saw this baby sloth pic.

@everyone, Glad you enjoyed the jibjab. Thanks again to Xtina and Flo for the link.
@bookfaerie, I'm so glad I'm not alone in snorting when I laugh!
@anna, Actually we're having the plaster replaced with Pebble Tec. Pavers sound wonderful but we're not going to redo the surround until later.
Merlot does awful things to Kool Deck too. I've gone to serving nothing but white wine by the pool.
@cassie, that might make The Shot!

@Cassie..I agree with Phebe..that is so cute, it might make "the shot" you ought to send it in..with credit to cuteoverload.com of course.

So now it is my turn it go OT.....because I have been thinking about this for the past 4 days. I am dying to know what is in that plastic binder with the blue on it. Anyone got any ideas :P

Loved the cartoon - so funny and so true. I didn't quite recognize everyone in it but most of them. And the point is well made (as usual with their stuff).

Wonder if the jibjab cartoon will make the shot - they have had stuff like that on before (the political stuff) or is it too close to home??

I'm so glad you posted this. I looked on the internet for it last night when I glaned up as it was playing on Jay Leno's show (sorry, I didn't way to see the rerun, and needed a laugh.) I even saved the NBC website so I could check back tonight...now I don't have to!

I thought I was our Mr. Cooper, but he didn't show up the rest of the clip.

I sent the sloth pic in. I don't know if it's quite enough to make The Shot but I'm sure whichever staffer/ intern gets those emails will smile.

Someone asked earlier if people were still getting the autoresponse from CNN -- I got one for the instant feedback I sent in today but didn't get one after sending in my Shot suggestion. (I'd written in previously pleading withe them for the return of Erica, I figured I better at least send a thank you now that she's back. I wonder just how many emails they got asking for her?)
