The pics aren't coming up. However I've read Anderson's Blender magazine interview many times and its one of my faves. I like reading about his likes and dislikes of music.

I know this is weird but I think Anderson might look kind of cute with a mohawk. Although I doubt there are many hairstyles that would look bad on him, except for long hair. That wouldn't look good.

Not sure if anyone else has the same problem, but your link to the article doesn't work. It's just a big blank space. I've tried to pull it up on Firefox, Safari & IE.

TVNewser's Sunday headline: "Middle of the Road and CNN's back of the Pack in Prime"
Comments have not yet been updated, but I'm sure there will be many on that site. Of course Klein is still saying CNN leads with the demo, but MSNBC claims victory for being in cable's second place. Despite Klein's claim, CNN has lost the demograhic 12 times in May alone.
Thanks for the musical update Quitty, but I don't have an ipod, and what appeals to AC, doesn't necessarily appeal to me. I will say I like his mother's choice, Neil Diamond.

I wish Anderson could do another interview like this Blender piece - I know it's not the most important thing in the world and considering the fact that he's got bigger problems with the show to deal with, it's not likely to happen again, but it's interesting to know what his taste in music is. I like Getz/Gilberto, Scissor Sisters, The Clash, The Violent Femmes, Ike and Tina Turner and Radiohead too, but I'm behind the times and don't have an iPOD yet. AC did another list of his favorite songs about a year or two after the Blender article - he mentioned songs by Nina Simone, Charlie Parker and Curtis Mayfield amongst others - they're some of my favorite musical artists as well. The photo of Anderson is one of his best.

@ACAnderfan, he might look ok with a mohawk - I remember a couple of times on 360 Red where they played around with different hairdos for AC and a mohawk was one of them.

I don't know if this was posted yet or not, but I just saw on my DVR that Anderson is scheduled to co-host on Live with Regis and Kelly on Thursday and Friday this coming week. Set your DVRs!!

Sorry about the pics not showing originally. I tried to post ones that were easier to read but blogger didn't like it. So now posted are some lower resolution pics. Just click on the ones posted to read what Anderson said about the songs.

Thanks for the article Quitty, back then I don't think I had even heard of Anderson, lol.

Is it me, or is that pic a bit weird? Like his head was put on someone else's body, lol!

Thanks Quitty, this was an interesting article. I am surprised by some of his choices though.

Here is hoping Anderson is back in the anchor chair tomorrow night.

@Kristien...Hmmm, now that you mention it does look like the proportions between his head and his hands are off.

@Quitty: I know, right? Weird, just too weird!

Great insite in comments section in TVNewser as to CNN's problems. Many feel even breaking news wouldn't help them and that during the day, the ratings are pretty steady, it's prime time that's needs the shake up. I agree though I don't think Jack Cafferty is "creepy."
Quitty, your high resolution pics worked for me, but now it's blurry. Just can't please'em all.
Thanks anyway.

It was reported recently, I forget where, maybe USA Today, that 60 Minutes is still, after all these years, the most watched news show to date. The downside is, AC has only done two shows this entire year and he generally gets the "soft" interviews. I know everyone is very competitive on that show, but I'd like to see him do something that has some "teeth to it." Steve Croft and Scott Paley are hard acts to follow.

I have found it very interesting reading the comments on tvnewser posts with the ratings on them......going back the last several weeks when the ratings seem to have gone down more.....interesting reading what viewers out there think and feel.

Anderson seems to have gotten some backfire on his apology for his teabagging comment.

TVNewser posters are overwhelmingly conservative and a lot of them have hated Anderson and been not so secretly hoping for his downfall for a long time. They like conservatives everywhere hate him much worse after the little tea bag joke (he was actually getting blamed for starting that whole thing even though people everywhere else were making tea bag jokes earlier and longer) and it intensified after he did his job by asking Liz Cheney some difficult questions (and received back lots of lies). They aren't the people he should worrying about courting.

During the day the networks all have shows on that are presented as news not opinion. During primetime MSNBC and FOX have theatrical partisan commentators in primetime sneering at the opposing political party. That attracts ratings and it gathers more viewers when there is no big news event happening.

When will this idiot Klein actually wake up and come down to earth? What is wrong with him, that he cannot see what is right in front of his face? With a 'leader' like that, no wonder they are in trouble.
Maybe HE is the one who is now the main reason of this network going down the toilet! The guy is clueless. How much longer will he pretend everything is so peachy? Enough already, let them get off their A**es and do something. At least save Anderson's show somehow. The rest can go for all I care. They are unbearable and boring enough to fall asleep with.
Now Campbell is back today. Oh yay.Rant over now.

@7:52AM: I agree with your rant. Klein is in denial.
@2:15AM: TVNewser commenters are obsessed with Keith Olberman or KO as he is referred to in comments, so they are not all conservative. You are right that they don't favor AC, but they do cover a broader spectrum of opinion on the news and ratings.
