Clips From New Years Eve 2010

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good New Years Eve and New Years Day. Here are a few clips of Anderson from Times Square. I know I was in stitches but I think it was more Anderson's reactions to things than Kathy Griffin's jokes.

Thank you for putting up the clips from the NYE show. I really enjoyed it last night!

Thank you for the clips! I was unable to watch and really wanted to see the show.

I don't have anything against Kathy Griffin, per se, however she just talks so much. Anderson was barely able to get a word in.

Happy New Year!

I like the pics from Jack Grey. Anderson looked really nice in that red sweater.

Even though I really didn't like the show the other day, it is nice to see some parts of it again. The best part was when Anderson read that e-mail from that person who wanted Kathy to shut up.

It was great seeing Anderson on tonight's AC360 after such a long break. I hadn't watched while he was out. The show was OK, though nothing stood out as really good. The "miracle mom and baby" story on Monday should be interesting.
When they showed the clips with Ms. G, I muted the TV and turned away from the screen. CNN should remember the programs are aired for viewers and consider our preferences. AC likes her, but that's no reason to keep giving her air time. He might think about what his fans want; there are many classier, talented, pleasant women who can really co-host.

Kathy's an acquired taste and many people find her annoying and crude, but she makes me laugh and it's always fun to see AC "shocked" and giggling at her outbursts. I think he held back a little and stayed on the safe side of the street by acting as if he didn't know what Kathy was talking about most of the show - I guess it keeps HIM out of trouble. There was a lot of talk about her dropping the f-bomb, which I thought I heard too. The moments after the ball drop with the confetti and the crowd and Sinatra singing "New York New York" never fail to move me - I really want to do the whole Times Square NYE thing someday, but CNN does a good job of making you feel like you're there.

Kathy is getting more and more annoying every year. Hopefully, Andy's red sweater was bright enough to distract my attention from her taut face.

For those who have the Fox Reality Channel, season 1 of The Mole is being shown today.

It was so nice to have Anderson back last night.

Maybe the show wasn't the best but it was a holiday and I was surprised to see him. I think it had enough fun, along with a little seriousness.

Thanks for posting these pictures from NYE. I loved the red sweater.

I think Anderson should get a red shirt and wear with a black tie and black solid suit. I bet he would look really handsome.

Sorry kind of got all fangirl for a minute.

On NYE we mostly watched the Three Stooges marathon on AMC. DH loves the Three Stooges.
During commercial breaks, I'd switch to CNN and watch Anderson and Griffin.

I'm one of those who doesn't get Griffin's sense of humor and there's only so much of Anderson's squirming I can take before feeling really sorry for him to be stuck live on the air with that woman. Even if they are friends off-screen, but that doesn't make it any easier to watch.

The Three Stooges were way funnier than Kathy Griffin.

@Jaanza: I agree with your sentiment entirely.
@aires moon: Having done the Times Square thing, I can tell you from experience, it "ain't" all that great...especially in nasty weather. Like Don Lemon pointed out, a lot of pick pockets and the like and this was pre-9/11. It's something you do once or twice and then never again.
Good seeing AC back and Erica doing the bulletin.
I agree about his red sweater. Very nice.

Thanks for posting the clips. They were even funnier the second time around.

For an even dreamier pic of the red sweater check out Kathy's twitter.

Thanks so much for posting this! I had to miss the first hour because we didn't get home in time so I was pretty disappointed, but now I get to see the best bits.

I have to balance out all the Kathy dislike; I think she's hilarious and a really good person underneath all the "shocking comments" (like visiting the warzones and Walter Reed and trying to connect with them). And thankfully Anderson does too, so we get to see him giggling like crazy. I loved hearing all the times she threatened to say something really dirty and Anderson had to try to stop her.

Thank you very much for posting the clips! I didn't get to see it this year.

Kathy Griffin is funny in her stand up and on the D List, but she was annoying during this NYE show. She kept wanting to "go there" and AC ended up looking and sounding uncomfortable. I think last year's show was better though, including that lewdness she yelled to the heckler when she thought the cameras were off. I trust CNN learned from that incident and moved the show indoors as soon as they went to break, yes?
