Anderson Cooper Co-Hosted Live with Regis & Kelly today. He taped his last segment Tuesday before heading to the Gulf Coast. His trip may account for him being MIA during a couple of segments that featured only Kelly. Here's the run down on this morning's show and yes, we did get to see his new glasses! Today began Live's Grilling Friday's "Fire House Cook-Off." Kelly taped the segment with this week's cook, but Anderson was in for the audience voting, modeling some different glasses, and announcing the contenders to appear on next Friday's edition of Live ~
For today's extras -- Anderson modeled his glasses for the audiencce and asked Kelly's opinion. He apparently has two pair. The looked to be the same frame to me, just a different color?
Kelly thought the frames were all wrong for him and offered to go with him to pick out different frames. Gellman suggested that maybe that could be a future Live segment? Throughout the show they had Anderson trying on different styles of glasses, beginning with Art's!
And ending with Kelly's!
In the end, Anderson seemed to prefer the one's he picked out.

I'm glad folks are finally getting to see them. I think the black frames dominate his face and are too hipster for him. He needs to go more Tim Gunn. Classic.
Anderson seems to vain to wear glasses of any kind or else he'd be wearing them now. As for contacts, I don't think he could handle the up keep.
LOVED Anderson on R&K. He looks so cute in glasses and I prefer tortoiseshell pair he had on. The White Castle candle was hilarious. I loved Anderson going on and on about how bad it smells. Anderson playing with his glasses was totally adorkable. I loved at the end when he kept trying on different pairs of glasses. I think small round wire rimmed glasses would look really good on him. But the glasses he does have look very good on him
Happy to see some R&K pics! The oil spill coverage is making me too serious. Relieved sigh and smile for a fun post! I like the pair with the light-colored rims, the pic between two with shades. The dark rims are not flattering to AC; they make him look too severe. He's handsome in any style; nothing could make him less so. He's a trouper to model styles for the fans. Way cool Anderson Cooper!
I think Anderson should get glasses kind of like the ones I have. I have black and pink square framed Calvin Klein glasses. I wouldn't have Anderson get the pink ones but they have them in blue, green and gray.just a thought. i don't think he would get them though because they are expensive they are about $300 but he would look great in them.

Glad we all got to see what the live audience saw...AC with his new glasses.
AC should stay away from anything with dark frames. The dark framed ones make him look like Steve Martin. They are overpowering. He should try to match the frames with his hair coloring for a more natural look, or get contacts so we can all see his handsome face.
As an aside, Kristen Davis made a great guest. She seems very down to earth, almost like the character she plays.
Whoever sold these glasses to Anderson should be punised. He is so light skinnes, light colored, so he should have light colored glasses, maybe frameless, maybe with a thin silver frame, but those he showed: no way
