Wolf Blitzer anchored America Votes 2010 and opened the program by telling us what was at stake in the House and the Senate.
John "Neo" King was at the CNN Election Matrix to break down key races.
Jessica Yellin was in Las Vegas and gave us a report on the Nevada Senate race.
Anderson Cooper and the Best Political Team On Television were "kicking it old school" with the analysis discussion.
Not only the BPTOT, but also the "Biggest Political Team on Television" consisted of Candy Crowley, Gloria Borger, Joe Johns, Dana Bash, Soledad O'Brien....
...Ed Rollins, Alex Castellanos, John Avalon and Roland Martin.
While Anderson and his "team" were the "no graphic panel" Ali Velshi "dropped it like it was hot" with his presentation of the nationwide favorable ratings poll data.
John King was back in to break down the battle for Congress and what the GOP needs to do to take control. And then the "old school" panel discussed what might happen if the GOP takes control. What will President Obama do?Wolf announced that JFK Adviser Ted Sorensen died today at the age of 82. He was the primary Kennedy speechwriter and coined the famous words that JFK spoke ~ "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."
The team ended the night by taking turns talking about Mr. Sorensen, some of the other famous speeches he penned, what effect his work has on speechwriters today and some personal remembrances.

Thankfully I was watching Desperate Housewives and totally missed the political coverage. Doesn't look like I missed anything though.
Tuesday's and wednesday's shots were the best. The dogs dressed up in Halloween costumes were cute, especially the two dogs dressed up as a Kit-Kat-Bar. And of course anything involving Richard Heeney is funny.
I too failed to catch AC and TBPTOT, like most of America. There were other things to do and watch, but thanks for your update.
That's not a panel. It's a class.
Guess CNN just doesn't want to take Jon Stewart's advice, and rid themselves of the talking heads.
Thank You for the post. I watched a little of last night but got bored, so I went back and forth between cnn and A&E and undercoverboss a little everything.

Thought the coverage was interesting, albeit kind of strange to see a full court press from CNN on Sunday night and Halloween at that. They certainly all seemed to be having fun together, so that made it enjoyable. But the politics have been discussed to death for so long that I didn't feel like there was much new info.
I was in DC this weekend and it was nice to see AC's shirt get a shoutout at the rally. Definitely a fun time. I hope that we get through this week and then politics simmer down a bit. This 365/year, EVERY year campaigning is unacceptable.
I know a lot of people on here can't stand the politcal coverage AC does and I respect everyone's opinion on that. I, on the other hand cannot get enough of it. IMHO this is where i feel that Anderson really shines, I have to confess I have learned so much about the process in and of politics, watching Anderson the past few years I feel like if young people where to get anything out of his show education wise it would aire on the side of learning about politics. Anderson has a fresh approach and a stay with me appeal that he can keep the young people interested in it for the long term. I would have to say this is my favorite time and anytime there is political coverage to watch Anderson in action. Thanks ATA!
@judy I wish CNN would realize that they, better than any other network, could really capitalize on what the people at that Rally are looking for. Fox will look at their ratings and continue to ignore Stewart, and MSNBC seems to be offended by the very idea that liberals can also go too far. This should be CNN's moment. They need to get it together.
I didn't watch Sun. night because I didn't want all of the political discussion, knowing there would be plenty this week. However, being from Nebraska, I am sad that I missed the discussion on Ted Sorensen. Does anyone know if there will be a clip of it anywhere?
Thank you!
