Anderson Cooper was a busy man this past year. I hope he got some rest on his vacation since it sounds like 2011 will be off to a busy start for him. It's been reported that he will be covering the Larry King Live hour these next two weeks and that a return to Haiti for the one year anniversary of the quake is being planned. We'll have it all covered for you. Happy New Year! ~ Wonz

Anderson certainly has been busy this year. I know I am in the minority here, but I found Anderson coverage of Haiti to be very insensitive and disrespectful. I am not looking forward to his rerun there.

360Friday while not very good, I think had potential had they not abandoned it and kept working at it.

I liked Anderson's interview with Dr.Kevorkian. I thought it was very interesting.

It'll be interesting to see what 200 has in store for Anderson.

Thanks for all your hard work putting together that lengthy list. Anderson certainly has gotten around alot in the past year and accomplished much.

Agreeing with ACAnderFan about 360 Fridays. It was great to see Anderson and CNN try something different and if they've just kept at it, maybe tweaking it here and there each week it might have worked.

However Anderson seemed to have some difficulty / unease working with live audience, which might not bode well for his future talk show.

Thanks also for the New Years Eve clips. DH and I were watching the Marx Brothers marathon but I turned to CNN a couple minutes before midnight and stayed til a couple minutes past midnight Oddly enough, for those minutes Anderson and Kathy Griffin never appeared on screen.

Have any guests been announced for the two weeks Anderson will be at the L,arry King desk?

Yes, indeed, AC was a very busy man in 2010.
He better get all his business done before his syndicated show gets going.
It is my belief he should have taken over LK's position in the first place and then gone right into one hour of 360. But maybe he wanted the live audience feedback.
Looking forward to his return to Haiti. He does his best work, live and in the field. Thanks for the run down of events.

As someone who was in the room, I didn't feel like AC had trouble relating to the live audience. I think there were new show kinks like stops and starts, but it was a new experience for everyone on the crew. I think all of this would have been worked out.

The part that would have continued to be problematic would have been taping it a day in advance and discussing fast-moving stories where the news has often changed by the next night.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he handles the 9 o'clock hour over the next couple weeks and, unlike ACAnderFan, I'm looking forward to his return to Haiti. The work he and the AC360 team did there was incredibly inspiring to me.

I know that Phebe and others of ATA love John Roberts, did you all see that he is moving to Atlanta and working at FOX News not CNN as was said!? Quite a "get" for FOX I say! CNN is losing all of their good people. Will Anderson be the next to go on down the line? Sad to see such good people leave and we are stuck with such bad programing.

Anderson did go to a lot of places but not nearly as many as other anchors did. I'm not downplaying what he did, he did do good work, but he didn't do as much as others.
