From the Serious in Syria to the RidicuList

"Tonight, a regime that doesn't just torture and murder murder it's own people, doesn't just shoot them down in the streets. Tonight, a regime that continues to arrest it's children; torturing them and murdering them. ... in Syria they try to hide their crimes by keeping reporters out, but videos continue to emerge. ...So tonight, for whatever it's worth and for whoever can do something about it we want to show you the truth of what is happening in Syria. ...History written in blood, history repeating itself, everyday in Syria" ~ Anderson Cooper

The RidicuList was great. Love Anderson's snark. William Tapley is nuts. I think he has a few screws loose. He's obsessed with turning everything in the Denver airport into something sexual.

Good interview with Anderson in that magazine. Will be interesting to see what topics are discussed on the talk show.

The image of the Syrian soldiers beating and kicking an elderly man was unbelievably sick and sad--360 has been doing a good job of focusing on the atrocities that continue to take place there.

The Ridiculist was good--the way Anderson kept changing William Tapley's "official" title name to something equally crazy throughout the bit was very clever--nice writing by AC and/or his staff. Needless to say, airport guy has a few issues.

Nice clip of AC at CFDA--I had no idea "Diane" is pronounced "Dionne" until I heard AC in this clip. He is pretty stylish in spite of his denials.

Just read the article and I must say that Anderson sure is full of himself. It's all about him and no one else. He never listens to what people say, case in point when the interviewer said they had made a fake press pass Cooper glossed right over it and went on to me, me, me. If he wants to succeed in the non political talk show biz he will have to start listening to his guests and remember its not all about him. At the end of her show Oprah made that mistake she started to put herself into the equation and the same goes for OWN, you are not the center of the universe, God is and you are not God.

Anonymous 11:40 it was an interview about HIM. Also we don't know how it was edited. i always thought Anderson was a great listener. When I read an article about Anderson I want it to be about Anderson. don't really care about who is writing the article.

I am sure enjoying having Anderson all over the place. I think his new show is going to be great and ratings for his AC360 seem to be coming up.

Annon 11:40 - Right now I think he is out there pushing "his" show and is doing just what needs to be done. Need to remember how things are edited during an interview - yep, think all is just fine.

Yes, the name "Dionne," seems a little bit uppity.
In the nineties she was pushing her line on QVC and guess what, her name was plain old Diane, but that was before she married Barry Diller and became the head of CFDA.

I'd really love to see the interview of Erica with AC at the promaxbda. I'm sure that's going to be good. I'm really hoping a clip will be available online.
