From Sri Lanka to Molly

CNN.com posted a video of Anderson Cooper answering fans questions via iReports on Sunday. If you missed it we've got it for you.

Anderson mentioned in a lot of his reports he ends up focusing on the plight of animals. Here's a video of Anderson covering the tsunami in Sri Lanka. His report wasn't about animals this time but they did their best to capture his attention.

In the iReport AC also mentioned his dog Molly. She was a special guest one night on AC360, here's the video.

This is all well and good, but you failed to mention why he did the whole iPad thing. CNN is going to broadcast 360 and other things via iPad, computer, and other devices LIVE, but first they need to get their act together with synchronization.

Thank you for posting this. If it wasn't for ATA I wouldn't know about half the things that were out there.

I had wondered if he still had Molly and sounds like he does.

Thank you

I thought Molly was older than 7 (is that how old he said she was in the video?) when was she a guest on the program? it doesn't add up

I'm so happy to hear he still has Molly. Being 7 sounds about right because when she was on 360 I think she was only 2 or 3 and that was a while ago.

Actually she was on when he had the "Red" 360 which was on at 7pm and I believe that was about 5 years ago...

Just remembered that bit.

"This is all well and good" is a very good way to begin, especially since AC was a "no show" on his own program tonite.
And Molly was given to a friend or relative last I heard or read.

@3:09: First AC needs to show up before they "stream anything," live or otherwise.

why the anger?? said...

@ anon at both 1251 and 1253 (which I think is the same person)... good grief.... it's called VACATION!!! Why are you so upset that Anderson didn't "show up" to his own show?? He is entitled to vacation! And if he says he still has Molly, then I believe he still has Molly! Maybe the friend or relative was taking care of her while he was away. Why would he lie about whether he still has her or not??

Why the anger? It just seems the man who has stated he doesn't like vacations seems to be off every other week these days. For me it's more disappointment than anger. I kinda wish they would tell us ahead of time when he's going to be off. I was supposed to go on a vacation but I the people i"m visiting either don't have cable or no tv at all. I don't want to go and miss 2 weeks of 360. Then I come home and there's nothing good on. I'd rather go when he's away ang then I know I'm not missing anything. Airline tickets are much more expensive if you buy them at the last mminute. If you drive, it obviously takes much long which requires even more advanced planning.

We don't begrudge him vacation, we ust miss him when he's gone. I lost my mom and haven't adjusted to living alone. The television is my company and probably the only thing keeping me sane.

Thanks for all the info you give us; it's nice to know what's going on. By the way, isn't Molly the cutest?
