Anderson: Stop Spending and Start Saving! Plus, Joy Behar

Anderson opened today's showing introducing the topic of saving money ~

Anderson's first guest was personal finance expert, Farnoosh Torabi, who provided a four-week plan to help viewers get their finances on track in time for Christmas. Anderson and Farnoosh spoke with one couple currently in conflict over money and a mother-daughter team where the mother is concerned over the daughter's spending habits. Farnoosh provided tips on how they can get out of debt and start saving and Anderson played a game with an audience member about the best time to buy certain items. There were questions from the audience and viewers were invited to join the Anderson Viewers' Savings Club. Here's the video clip of the "game" ~

Another segment on clipping coupons and another plug for TLC's Extreme Couponing. Today, instead of adult women sharing their coupon clipping habits, a 16-year-old was Anderson's next guest. Joel discussed his coupon habit and competed in a supermarket challenge with Anderson to see who could buy the most in 30 minutes for a $100 at a local NYC grocery store. He also shared how he's able to get items for free. Audience members shared their money saving tips and other viewers shared their tips via video and tweets. Here's the video of Anderson's shopping experience ~

"The View" co-host Joy Behar stopped by with her daughter, Eve, son-in-law, Al, and her new grandson, Luca, to chat with Anderson about her recent wedding, share her money saving tips and talk about her campaign to raise awareness for heart disease in women (and we get to meet her grandson!) ~

The only part of today's 'Anderson' was Joy Behar. She's funny. I wish she had been on for the hour.

I watched this morning's rerun of this episode from yesterday. I enjoyed most of it. I do like Joy, but I thought some of the other segments were interesting also.

It also seemed to me that Anderson was interacting a little more naturally with the audience. I hadn't really watched for several weeks and it seems like he's making a little progress.

Joy Behar has her own show on HLN.
Why don't you try watching her.

@anon-I watch the View every day and I enjoy it. Your attitude could be left outside your comments.
