Tonite's 360 was OK. The death in the desert story was odd. I LOVED The Ridiculist. Always very funny when its about Courtney Stodden.

The segment on James Holmes' psychologist was pretty good but they had very little meat to the story and so the panel discussion was a lot of coulda-woulda-shoulda speculation.

Rep. Bachmann's fundraising was the most interesting report for me (Minnesotan but not 6th District). I wondered how much of the $1 M Bachmann has raised came from outside her district. Totally not surprised that she in effect "bought" her seat on the Intelligence Committee by sharing her funds in the past with other influential representatives.

The 'Yoga Retreat Death' report seemed out of place, like it was meant for Nancy Grace or Jane Velez (sp?) instead.

The Ridiculist - I don't get the fascination with Courtney Stodden. When she first showed up she was interesting/amusing for 8 seconds but that was all.

August will be an incredibly tough month for Anderson. CNN will be spending a lot of time and money preparing for the political conventions and that requires all of its on-air people to study/reasearch/attend meetings... in short, take a ton of time to get ready.

And then right after the back-to-back conventions (Republicans last week of August, Democrats the first week of Sept.) Anderson will be lauching the new "Anderson Live" on Sept. 10.

I think it's bad timing; there should be a week in between for Anderson and the entire talk show staff to fine tune and polish everything. However, Katie Couric's new talk show will premiere on Sept. 10 so I guess Anderson has no choice. I'm hoping for the best for Anderson but am not getting my hopes up too high.

I am very much looking forward to Anderson's new talk show. Seeing Katie on different shows promoting her new talk show makes me appreciate Anderson even more. She is too sickly sweet for me.

@9:13AM: So glad you're looking forward to Anderson's new show.
Hint: Watch his old show.
That's his new show with a different backdrop and the word Live in the title.
