Anderson Cooper Wednesday 8/15/12

While Soledad O'Brien works it from the 360 anchor chair Anderson, and the ATA team, are enjoying a week off. Here's another video from the ATA Vault. We've adopted "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" as our motto this week and it reminded us of the 60 Minutes piece Anderson did on Kenny Chesney. Enjoy!

60 Minutes PART 2

More Instagram pics from Anderson on vacation. Here he's with Kelly Ripa:

And again with Kelly and her husband Mark Consuelos:

And this is a shot of the coastline:

The tabloids are having a field day with the recent events in AC's private life. Here's an article from the August 27th issue of InTouch:

You would think with all of Anderson's connections, like Andy Cohen and Kelly, who really looks different without makeup, and her hubby, AC would make a better talkshow host.
All he has to do is watch them, but he has no clue he's so boring.

I don't think Anderson is boring at all. If I thought he was boring, I certainly would not be wasting my time reading All Things Anderson.

I agree with 7:56AM on the post prior in comments,"Anderson does not seem to be a good judge of character."
Having said that, this could all be a publicity stunt for his talkfest.
It is just weeks away.
Any publicity is better than none in show biz.

There is a difference between the contents of this blog and contents on Anderson's show and his presentations.
The comments here, are of interest or you wouldn't be reading them.
The contents of his show and the way in which he presents them is boring.
That is why his ratings continue to be low.

In the midst of all the drama, they did manage to take some beautiful pics of Croatia--it really is a surprisingly lovely area.

If AC were going to do some sort of publicity stunt for the talk show, I'm pretty certain it wouldn't involve his personal life, I don't think he's enjoying having this part of his life exposed.

Bad judge of character? I doubt it.

@anon 10:38 pm, thank you for that comment, you are totally right.

@ aries moon, I agree if Anderson was trying to get publicity for the talk show he probbaly wouldn't involve his personal life. I have a feeling all this drama surrounding this scandal is probbaly his worst nightmare.

If he and Ben have broken, a worse nightmare might be a tell all from Ben. Ben didn't seem to use too much sense and be more discreet about making out in the park (or maybe he just figured he wasn't that recognizable to the paps). I can imagine it could be pretty humiliating to kicked off the yacht in front of DVF and all of Anderson's friends, unless Anderson had him sign a privacy document to not talk.

@ACAnderFan, you're right and I'm sure he wants this to blow over as quickly as possible so he can move on and get the focus back on his work.

LMAO @ how "inside" the Insider is that they have to photoshop a picture.

There is no such animal as a "privacy document to not talk."
It is conjecture on everyone's part that he was "thrown off the yacht."
And with Andy Cohen there, just think of the reality show this could make on Bravo.

Wasn't it Anderson who was "comically seen in bed with Kathy Griffin," just last year, at
his home??
I would say that is personal.
Not as personal as this, but personal.
He'd do anything for publicity, and tomorrow they will "kiss" and make up.

i've never posted here before, but feel the need now. i've been a fan of ac's since the mid 90s and a fan of this site for several years. i truly appreciate the work that goes into keeping us all up to date on all things anderson. however, i'm really disappointed with the decision to post gossip and speculation about ac's personal life - it seems if fans really respect him, they wouldn't post these types of things. in the future, please reconsider.

While I agree with you in part, I think a larger concern is Anderson's responsibility for his own actions.
Part of the gay life style is flamboyant and if he's caught doing flamboyant things or sends photos of himself on vacation with others, than it is HE who is accountable and not ATA.
Anderson chose to "come out." Now he has to deal with the publicity
of what that means.
Unfortunately, some of this is "fair game."

"Part of the gay life style is flamboyant".

You must just watch movies.

Anonymous said...

No, not "part of the gay life style is flamboyant, "all of the gay life style is flamboyant."
And it isn't just in the movies.
Check out the Bay area in San Francisco and see for yourself.

While it may not be true that all gays engage in a "flamboyant life style," Anderson was running with a fast crowd.
Not too many people I know, gay or otherwise, hop a plane to Paris to see Madonna live, and then the following week go to Croatia.
If that's not fast and flamboyant, I don't know what is.
