Anderson Live, Thursday, September 27, 2012

Anderson's co-host today was Taraji P. Henson.  There was a wardrobe malfunction and Molly filled in for Taraji for a couple of minutes; but as Anderson said in the After Show - she doesn't talk much!  Molly stuck around for the duration of the show, but seemed rather unimpressed by it all.

Guest segments today: "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice returned to address the controversy surrounding her appearance on yesterday's show; Ty Burrell of "Modern Family," and "The Dog Whisperer's" Cesar Millan

Anderson had that terror Teresa on again because he felt bad about the way he treated her yesterday and he said he doesn't take sides. Give me a break he takes sides every night on 360 and interrupts people while they are talking. Teresa got what she deserved yesterday. Also I wish he had talked to Cesar more it would have been interesting.

Molly was truly the best part of the show, I love the way she follows him every where(just like my dog does), it shows that she is loyal and just wants to be with him through anything.

Why oh why did they have Teresa on again and give her so much time? Cesar Milan was a scheduled guest and he got almost no time b/c Anderson had to let Teresa tell her story b/c an audience member said Anderson was rude to her yesterday? If Anderson felt the need to let her back on the show to defend herself, schedule her for the next open slot - don't slight the scheduled guests. How unprofessional! Had Molly not been on the show, I would have changed the channel and not changed back. It was good to see her.

Is it me or does it feel like the show is on "fast forward" this season - trying to cram a lot into an hour and no guest/topic getting any in-depth attention/time? Anderson seems to talk at warp speed much of the time and talks over his guests - maybe to move things along and get to the next segment.

Hi any chance we can see the segment with Molly and Cesar Milan? If you have time to post it.

Thank you

The pace of the show IS too rushed, Anderson interrupts guests too much, he often doesn't hear what co-hosts are saying and ignores their comments or questions and there's too much focus on reading the Twitter comments--it's distracting when he has to interrupt the flow of the conversation just to read some Twitter comment. I don't care what people are saying on Twitter during the show. Cesar Milan looked irritated at the end of the program and I don't blame him. They need to work on a lot of problems while the show's still on the air, but I don't know how long it WILL be on so maybe it doesn't really matter. I watch the show, but in some ways it was better last year, there are too many celebrities on and not enough interesting issues.

Loved that Molly was on the show and that she kept following Anderson around. She was the best part of the show.

I was glad Anderson had Teresa back. RHONJ is my favorite of all the Housewives shows and Teresa is my favorite of all the Housewives. I like hearing what she has to say.

@aries moon I agree that the pace of show is too rushed. He does spend too much time reading the twitter comments and it does seem like he kind of ignores the co-host at times. Though I kind of think he's not real wild about having a daily co-host anyway. The show needs a lot of work. Actually I think it was better last season.

Folks, I don't watch the show.
It is not on in my area...I wonder why.
However, all of you are right.
He talks faster than the speed of lightning, from the clips and that is the worst kind of interview with
anyone you could have.
Believe it or not, Teresa is a BIG draw and has many fans, and they're not all in NJ.
I didn't think he was rude, but you could tell she was uncomfortable yesterday and she probably complained to Andy Cohen from Bravo, her boss and Anderson's friend.
Just a guess.
Should others have been bumped for her? Probably not, but if you're a friend of Andy's, you do the Bravo thing.

Here's a thought.
If you bring in your dog...use her.
We loved his pet show last year because it had one theme, pets.
Poor Molly was ignored, just like his guests.
Not good.

@Anon 7:42 I would be happy to post a segment with Molly and Cesar Milan, but there wasn't one. Cesar was on at the end of the program and hardly given any time.

Teresa from the "Housewives" was not originally scheduled as a guest today and since she was back, I'm guessing they gave her the time originally planned for Cesar Milan.

Molly was on in the First 15 which we clipped and posted and the only other time she was on she sat by Anderson while he asked Cesar a couple of questions and that was about it.

Sorry - we were disappointed, too.

It is major "bad" if you ignore your co-host.
Anderson must have been told that he needs a co-host because he can't carry the show on his own, and he is, possibly recentful.
How would he have felt, if Kelly wasn't as gracious a host to him, and as welcoming all the times he sat in for Regis?
Kelly was confident that she was the one with the knowledge and she respected Anderson's journalistic expertise. She showed him the ropes.
Now, he has to learn how to jump,
and find someone who is to his liking and suitable with his personality.
That will be difficult, because most of his co-hosts, so far, have the ability to upstage him, and that's not hard.

@ACAnderFan, Molly is great, sweet and calm, I always like seeing her. I can tolerate the co-hosts if he's going that way, but he has to do a better job of listening to them and engaging them, but really as far as clicking with someone on daytime TV, it was Kelly Ripa and I don't think he'll be able to match her with anyone else.

71Thank you ATA Team. I should have known if there was a lot with Molly you would have posted it. I appreciate you letting me know. I am grateful for what you do post as I work and right now my DVD recorder is not working so I am missing the shows.

Thank you

@aries moon: Anderson did well with, wait for it, Erica.
Yes, that goes back a ways but I always thought they had real chemistry together on 360 and the minute she left, it all went down hill.
Kelly acted like Anderson was always welcome but it was a manufactured chemistry, and she was in charge.
That changed the dynamics altogether.
He literally had no responsibility when he sat in for Regis, so it all looked easy.
The NyPost reported that Michael Strahan is very happy in his new position and says he's having a ball.
I also read that Gelman, the producer, favored Michael Strahan.
