GUEST/TOPIC SEGMENTS:  Teacher convicted of having group sex with students speaks from jail; Phaedra and Porsha from the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'

EXTRAS:   From the 'Anderson Live' Tumblr page ~

BLOGGER'S NOTE:  'Anderson Live' had not posted any photo booth photos prior to today or any 'After Show Question and Answer' segments this week.  Not sure if it's because of interruptions due to Hurricane Sandy or the cancellation/non-renewal for a third season or what the reason.  Just didn't want you to think we were getting lazy with our posts.

Today's 'Anderson' was OK. I did like the first 15 minutes, and Anderson with the pig was cute. The teacher having sex with students was a waste of time and did not deserve all the air time it received.

I love animals.
I don't like seeing the one news person I used to admire, kissing a pig.
This is another reason why Anderson is being canceled.
Would Bob Woodward or Carl Bernstein have kissed a pig?

Nancy Grace forgot that she was the co-host and not the actual host.

Very cute pig and it did seem to calm down when AC held it.

Nancy may be brash and outspoken, but you have to admit that she asks great questions and demands answers. As for the pig and she who shall not be named 2, Anderson does seem a little obsessed with her and her family, especially for someone his age - he started to follow her watching T & T?

@ aries moon Animals seems to really take to Anderson. I think they know he is a true lover of animals. It was cute when he was kissing the pig, I think it liked him.

Yes, Alana or Honey Boo Boo, started out on Toddlers & Tiaras. She did the pageant rounds and was on the show for quite a while. She stood out so much, and there was so much talk about her that it parlayed into TLC giving her a show of her own. She still appeared on T&T even after getting her own show. But now she has stopped doing pageants so she quit T&T.

Her show is the highest rated TLC show and always is the number one rated show for it's night. Beating shows on all networks.

My cousin's daughter does pageants. We actually met Alana (Honey Boo Boo), June (Her Mom) and the family before they quit pageants. They are very sweet, down to Earth people. And they are not really that "out there" or crazy. The way they act on Honey Boo Boo is just for "show". Just exactly how The Housewives are made to ramp up their lives also so it will sell and bring in viewers.

I hope one day Anderson and the Live team will dress up in their Honey Boo Boo costumes so we can see them as the cast. That would have been hilarious to see!

What does it say about the intelligence level of the 'average voter' if Honey Boo Boo is the highest rated show on TLC?
But then why ask this question when Anderson Cooper gets to kiss a pig and viewers, those that he has, like it.
Yes, pigs make good pets. Just ask George Clooney, who didn't give up acting to become a talkshow host.

@Anon 8:05pm - what does the'average voter' have to do with watching Honey Boo-Boo?? As far as I can tell, voting is not part of watching TV! I know you are very upset that Anderson tried something new with doing the daytime show and 360, but the daytime show is NOT a news show! He is a 'news guy' while working on CNN, but he also has other interests outside of that, and he decided to try something new. Why this has upset you so much is a mystery to me. Why should he always be a serious news guy 24/7 and never show his personality? This isn't a new personality he has developed, the only thing that is new is that YOU now are seeing it.
