Good news for Anderson and AC360 in the ratings for February ~

Anderson Cooper 360 AC 360 at 8p had the most growth this month in cable news prime – increasing +42% in total viewers (791k vs. 559k) and +27% among 25-54 (236k vs. 186k) compared to a year ago. While AC 360 grew this month, The O’Reilly Factor was down -3% in total viewers and -26% in 25-54 and The Ed Show declined -14% and -10% respectively. This represents O’Reilly’s worst delivery at 8p since July 2008 in key demo 25-54. Outside of the November 2012 (Election) and March 2011 (Japan Tsunami), this month represents CNN’s best performance at 8p in over three years in both total viewers and 25-54.

Another good show. I missed the first few minutes. Is Cardinal Mahoney a frontrunner for new Pope? In the panel, I liked the perspective from Robert Hoatson , wished Anderson spent a little more time with him.

I know the federal budget and the cuts are important but I just couldn't get into it. In the report about the Tex/Okla blizzard I was hoping to see the collapsed roof building footage (seen earlier on other news) but 360 didn't have that. Besides the Metrodome, we don't get roofs falling down due to snow that often around here.

The Arias murder trial - again Randi Kaye did her best Nancy Grace impression and again the discussion between Toobin and Geragos was the liveliest and most interesting part of the show.

The best part of the Ridiculist were the 2 clips from Colbert.

Great news about the ratings! I wonder what this will mean for the rumors that 360 will be only at 10 PM in the future.

Glad to see AC back on 360.

The report on the Cardinal and the Vatican was unbelievable. I'm not sure what they stand for if they believe the scandal-connected Cardinal is suitable to pick the next Pope. The hypocrisy is pretty amazing.

The political reports on 360 seem to be shorter and not as frequent these days, which is fine by me--get the necessary info and get out.

I liked the diet discussion with Anderson and Sanjay.

The ratings seem to be improving, but it still remains to be seen what Zucker plans to do for CNN's primetime schedule.

I'm glad that they keep reporting about the Vatican scandal, or rather, series of scandals. This should brought up again and again on a regular basis. It's outragious that the church is basically involved in massive criminal activity and apparently immune to legal action.

The discussion about the Arias trial was interesting and Anderson and Sanjay are always great together.

The Dorner case was apparently good for the ratings and they did indeed a great job reporting on it. I only heard that the 10 PM repeat was going to be axed but Zucker better think twice before he messes with CNN's top rated show.

Thank you for the clips from WWHL! :)
