I liked the first 15 minutes. Also the co-host, she wasn't over the top or annoying like some are, she had fun but was calm. I am really over the segments about how stores try to cheat people out of money.

Perhaps if Terence and the 'Anderson Live' staff spent half as much time on guest bookings and topic/show development as they did on coming up with ways to embarrass Anderson and the lamest gifts imaginable for the guests they do get, the show would have better ratings and would have been renewed.

Today's co-host was enjoyable.

Also, on how many shows are they going to feature shopping traps? Again, poor staff. A show is only as good as it's weakest link and that appears to be the EP, Terence, when it comes to 'Anderson Live'

Why is the weakest link somone on the staff?
While I agree that Terence may not be likeable, perhaps the shows failure should be placed where it belongs, with the host.
Wasn't Anderson at one time a Producer?
What part did he play in the shows failure or was it none, as some here seem to think.
You mean to say he just came to the set every day and stayed mum.
And if that was the case, then maybe he should have spoken up.
Ya think?

I didn't say that Anderson was completely blameless, but a good staff is needed if any show is to succeed. Look at Gelman on R&K and Bill Geddie on The View. They are experienced, know how to book good guests and have a degree of professionalism that Terence just doesn't have.

Anderson was well liked by the Live With Regis and Kelly audience when he would guest co-host, so we know he had some hosting skills. With Terence's constant interjecting himself and his often rude or tasteless comments and the staff participating in lame activities (The Thanksgiving show comes to mind and Anderson was in Gaza so you can't lay blame for that on him.) it's pretty clear to me where the weak/unprofessional links lie.

Of course this is my opinion, and you are entitled to yours, @Anon 11:42.

I really liked the co-host and the dancing this was kind of funny but maybe also symptomatic for what is wrong with the production team.

Anon, so you outright state that Anderson is to blame and then you conceded that you don't know and speculate if he might have been a producer at some point (which would have been a secret since it definitely was never mentioned anywhere). Typical polemics from you.

As if Anderson had time to produce a show, book guests etc. with his time schedule. That's a fulltime job. A host can only do so much when the whole production is not that great. I agree with Jenn, compare that to Kelly & Regis.

Anon, first you outright state that Anderson is to blame and then you backpaddle and ask questions. Typical polemics from you.

A host can only do so much of the production of the show is not good. I agree with Jenn. Compare that to Kelly & Regis.

@Jenn: Thank you for allowing others to speak their mind and not revert to 'name calling.'

Regis liked anderson, until he got
a talker of his own and then not so much.
Oprah liked anderson, until he got a taker of his own, and then not so much.
I wonder why?

How difficult was it for Anderson to have a show that has ONE THEME.
We all said the show should have one or two topics at the most.
And what does he do for season two, the same crap he did for season one.
Exactly the same except even his inept staff realized HE NEEDED ANOTHER HOST.
So how inept could his staff have been??

Inept enough to be unable to provide the host with a show (and co-host concept for that matter) that would have a fantastic result like Kelly & Regis?

@tramp-a-doo:
A little history on Regis and Kelly.
Regis didn't like Kelly at the beginning and it took many months,
before she was accepted.
Everyone thought she would eventually fail, and she fooled them.
Good for her.
When Anderson came on, she held up the show and made him look good.
She was the perfect host.
A good host, makes the other guy look good, even if he/she isn't.
