From The ATA Archieves: Anderson Cooper in Rome

According to the AC360 website "Anderson Cooper reports from Rome on the night before the papal conclave begins."   This got us digging through our video archives and first we came upon Anderson's Reprorter's Notebook from 2005 when he was in Rome to cover the funeral of Pope John Paul II ~

And in 2006....

As has been reported, a new Pope is being chosen, because Pope Benedict XVI announced his retirement (something unheard of for centuries).   In November 2006, Pope Benedict XVI visited Turkey and Anderson was in the field to report on the visit.  Much more of that coverage will be shown in the upcoming weeks, but here's Anderson's first report from Turkey to cover the Pope's visit ~
