Anderson Cooper was in Moore, Oklahoma and anchored the 2pm to 4pmET edition of CNN's Newsroom. The first 20 minutes or so were taken up by a live feed of Jodi Arias speaking to the jury at her sentencing hearing. After a quick break, Anderson was live in Moore. He opened the broadcast, bringing us up to date on the situation in Moore and spoke to Douglas Sherman who shot video of the tornado and was a volunteer helping in the rescue efforts ~
And over the course of the broadcast he spoke with:

* Checked back in with John King who spoke with a survivor looking for her dog
* Checked back in with Stephanie Eliam who showed a photo of another survivor's lost dog

Anderson signed off saying he would be back with live editions of AC360 at 8pm and 10pm ET
BLOGGER'S COMMENTS: I truly admire Anderson for his field reporting. His talents shine covering big, breaking news stories and especially in the field. A natural disaster of this scale IS the news story of the day and probably for a few days, as it should be. Before complaining about AC360 concentrating on one big story, stop and ask yourself, "What if the tornado hit you and/or your loved ones." ~ Wonz.
