Way too much on the Zimmerman trial. I spent quite a lot of time with Hayes over on MSNBC, who spent only his second segment on Zimmerman.

I found the Jodi Arias trial interesting partly because it was coming to its end and partly because of the talks by Geragos and Toobin. Perhaps Anderson and CNN are getting feedback stating everybody is intensely riveted to this case and will watch Anderson spend a half hour of 360 on it instead of switching to Nancy Grace (who I think covered it for her entire hour).

360 on Thursday was like HLN, heavy on Zimmerman and other crime and scandal news. It's frustrating and disappointing because I love Anderson and want 360 to be better.

@Aries Moon - on Thursday Rachel Maddow had a terrific look at the impact of the demise of the Voting Rights Act; the sort of analysis we were hoping for on 360.

@Jaanza, I watched the Rachel Maddow show and you're right, her examination of what conservatives are doing in the wake of the SCOTUS VRA decision and the damage it's already causing (she said it was blatantly racist and I can't really argue with that) was very good. It's unfortunate that 360 thinks a sports figure arrested for murder is more important news than devastating SCOTUS decisions. Rachel Maddow is willing and able to give equal time to LGBT rights AND voter rights, but evidently AC only has time and interest for one thing only.

I'm sick of Geragos and Cevallos and even AC's apparent interest in taking focus off of the fact that Zimmerman had the gun and followed and confronted an unarmed young man when he was told by authorities NOT to.

Boyce Watkins comments on Paula Deen were right on target.

Ush, this Danny Cevallos guy is so annoying. People won't be able to relate to her because she can't read cursive writing? I wish Toobin and Toobin were the pundits for this trial.

In this digital age she will soon be in the majority as many schools no longer teach cursive.

Talk about racist! Their reaction to her lack smacked of smug condescension. I'm with you about that Cevallos fellow and Geragos has been even more harsh and opinionated than ever.
