Okay, who here cares about Alex Rodriguez? Anyone?

While it is a big story - the drugs and the suspension - it was not an appropriate lead story for any show not on ESPN. I switched to MSNBC where Hayes' substitute anchor reported on the terror threat and embassy closings and then the GOP still fighting Obamacare during the time Anderson spent on Rodriguez.

When Anderson did get to the terror story it was pretty good. I just wish the questions for the panel didn't feel so rote and pre-programmed. When Philip Mudd said the U.S. should "be concerned but not over-react" Anderson should have asked Mudd what the U.S. reaction should be. Instead Anderson asked about Al Queda being desperate or not; this was apparently the next question on the list.

In the first Bulletin, Isha mentioned the RNC being mad at CNN and NBC and wanting *easier and friendlier* presidential debates in 2016. Jake Tapper had an excellent report and panel on this subject this afternoon. Since Anderson hosted one of those debates, I was hoped he would have a segment about it.

I enjoyed Isha and Anderson's banter about 'Jeopardy'. Did Isha mention the kid would still end up in second place if his answer was allowed? I checked the transcript but the 'Jeopardy' story and subsequent banter is not included.
