Wednesday's 360 was entirely about the Fort Hood shooting. That's understandable because it was indeed Breaking News and new facts were becoming available as 360 was being broadcast. For that reason I can't complain too much but I do have a hope for Thursday's show.

John Berman did a good job anchoring. He talked to Barbara Starr, Pamela Brown, Major Gen. James "Spider" Marks, John Fuentes, Shawn Henry, Rep. John Carter III (R-TX) and Michelle Kosinski. Berman also brought in a feed from a Texas station with eyewitness Tyler stating the current situation. News conferences by President Obama and another by Sect. of Defense Chuck Hagel were shown. Late in the show was one more with officials in Texas. Tom Foreman was also at the map.

MSNBC also covered the Fort Hood shooting for the entire hour.

The shooting is still going to be big news tomorrow. However, I hope some time is taken to cover today's Supreme Court ruling on campaign contribution limits. It's big important news that will have a huge impact. I really want 360 to dissect the ruling and not sweep it away because of Fort Hood and 370. I could even wait until Friday or Monday to see a good look at the campaign donation decision.

When I didn't see Anderson at the desk my first guess was he's going to Australia for 370. But I'm glad to read he's working on another '60 Minutes' report.
