Thanks for the videos, ATA, very helpfull today because I missed the first few minutes of the show.

It was great to see Anderson out in the field, in the middle of it all or at least the middle of Baghdad. I would guess he got there shortly before the curfew was in place; he didn't have footage of himself checking the city

There was a great deal of information in the first segment. Anderson spoke with Jim Sciutto and Jim Acosta on the current situation, the 275 troops for the embassy, Obama considering options such as air strikes and possibly allying with Iran. The talk with Major Gen. James 'Spider' Marks was limited to military options and targets.
Then Anderson brought in Nic Robertson and Arwa Damon, who have been in the country for a while. They discussed the ISIS videos of executions, past violence and guesses how these videos will affect the near future.

In the second segment Anderson handed the show over to Wolf Blitzer to cover the tornadoes in Nebraska. I switched to Hayes.

360's next segment had Phillip Mudd and Peter Bergen talking about the ISIS videos, the Shia/Sunni divide and Iraqi president Al Maliki.

My favorite segment was the one with Tom Foreman at the floor map. The map zeroed in on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and Foreman had some good info on the compound. I've seen too many comments on the internet from the halfway-informed who think the 275 troops are going to fight ISIS and Obama broke his promise about sending soldiers to Iraq. . Hopefully this will help clear up their confusion and/or ignorance. In this same segment there was a panel with James Jeffrey and Peter (? - Peter's name was never shown on screen, only got the first name because Jeffrey said it). This was a good talk on the future of Iraq.

The last segment was a report by Randi Kaye on ISIS and it's money. I watched Hayes cover voting rights, voting numbers and voter suppression in Georgia.

Of course, with Anderson in Iraq the main focus of 360 will be Iraq. Maybe tomorrow we'll see reports from Anderson walking around Baghdad and seeing what the situation is like in the city. That's what he does best.

16/6/14 Not surprised to see Anderson I Iraq He is right where he likes to be doing what he loves to do and is so good at giving viewers a good insight to what is happening. Unfortunately missed some of the program but interviews I saw were good & thrownbacks to station good. Will be interesting to see how week proceeds. Sorry to be so ill informed but would like to know what ISIS is have not heard about it here inBC
