Not sure if this is the right place to ask but why is it sometimes anonymous comments are allowed and sometimes they aren't on this blog?
Anonymous 1:04 AM: We have a few readers who delight in spamming our comments with negativity and when it gets overwhelming we switch to registered Google users. We apologize but there aren't enough hours in the day to sift through their particular crazy when they get on a roll.
Does 360 have a no Democrats policy? Is the Republican perspective on politics the only one 360 wants to present now? Is Paul Begala still a CNN political analyst? Where's Charles Blow? There seems to be an endless supply of Republicans on 360, but Dems are scarce or non-existent--CNN has taken a sharp turn to the right but I wasn't prepared for them to ex out Democrats altogether. The bookers need to do better about having guests that represent both sides of the aisle if they want to avoid looking biased.
Aries Moon: CNN has gone the Repug route in hopes of pilfering some of Fox's viewers, but I'm sure you realize that. Begala is still one of my all time favorites along with Carville who killed me when he joined Fox. As much as I like James, John Roberts and Shep I cannot bring myself to give Fox a second of my time. But I digress, I live for the day CNN wakes up and realizes it has lost its way, which reminds me does AC even use the phrase fair and balanced anymore? And the 360 tag has got to be dropped, when was the last story they covered from all sides? And lastly I am so over AC and other 360 reporters constant whining over not getting interviews…usually mentioned in conjunction with ‘we’ve reached out/called them multiple times’. Somebody needs to put on their big boy pants and get over it.
@Phebe, it's true that CNN has been trying to reel in stragglers from Fox to the detriment of their long time viewers who expect better from them. Given the poor ratings of 360 and CNN overall, that strategy is failing big time. Anderson still lists himself as the host of AC360 Later on his Twitter page and that program has been off the air for months, so he's probably also forgotten that 360 is SUPPOSED to be fair and balanced.
I don't have cable so I don't watch CNN but I always came here to see what was talked about on CNN that night. From what I've read it seems like Anderson doesn't like Obama and that he's a republican. I've never really heard him express his political views.
