What in the world is the matter with Kathy Griffin's neck?
Yes, we know this pic is photo shopped or chopped, but she almost looks human.
And Andy looks eager to pounce on his prey.

Ah, so AC was taping Heroes--I always look forward to that show. Looks like Kathy Griffin's really enjoying her big moment with Anderson.

Did the CNN Heroes people not get the memo that Anderson came out a couple of years ago? Photo shopped or not, the picture of he and Kathy Griffin in bed together is just creepy at this point.

This may be a new low for CNN promotion.

The photo's not creepy at all. Everyone knows that AC and Kathy are friends and Kathy has a 'crush' on him. And everyone knows AC is gay and not interested, so what? So a gay man and a straight woman who are long time good friends can't even have a bit of fun on a photo?

Totally agree with Anon 11:09. I've always felt that CNN Heroes was something that CNN and Anderson should be proud of. Its always been a class act in both selection of nominees and the broadcasting of the program. As soon as I found out that Kathy was involved, i knew she would take the program down a knotch. This picture serves in no way to benefit or promote CNN heroes. With the Ray Rice and Bill Cosby issues and the abuse of women a topic of discussion right now discussion, this picture disturbs me on so many levels.

@aries moon Creepy was probably a wrong choice of words on my part. I guess I'm just disappointed in CNN. Had Anderson or Kathy posted the photo, I would have found it funny. CNN has a history of promoting Anderson as a "straight" male and the talk show did the same thing with Kathy in the very beginning. Now that Anderson is out, I find it, I guess "sad" that they still try to "paint that picture" to those people that may not know he's gay - and yes, those people exist.

Since Heroes is more of a serious program, I guess I feel that if they wanted to use that photo for promotion, the NYE program would have been a better choice.
