@CWM84 - In yesterday's post you wondered about Anderson paying so much attention to the Pope. I don't have any definite answers but remember reading his Mom Gloria Vanderbilt is Catholic I think she mentioned it in one of her books.
Anyway, Pope Francis' visit is a big deal, it is historic and it's not about Trump. Jake Tapper's show was almost entirely on the Pope (don't know Tapper's religious affiliation) and a big chunk of Blitzer's (I think Blitzer is Jewish).

Tuesday's 360 had two segments on Pope Francis, see ATA's posts. One was an overview, a talk with Jim Acosta and a panel with John Allen, Bruce Feller and Father James Martin.
The focus of the second was the Pope's security. There was a report with Anderson in a NYC police helicopter. I watched Hayes' segment titled "Trump the Shark" focusing on Trump getting mad at anti-Trump ads and threatening to sue. When I checked back to 360 Anderson was talking with Dan Borgino.

Most of 360's coverage of Trump came courtesy of CBS. There was a lengthy clip from "60 Minutes" of Trump simultaneously defending and backtracking from his earlier anti-Muslim comments. The second half of this segment was on Hillary Clinton publicly stating she opposes the Keystone pipeline. Anderson and Jeff Zeleny made a big fuss about Clinton not saying this earlier.

Anderson talked to a reporter on the latest Carly Fiorina news and then to Joe Nocera on comparing Fiorina's and Trump's business history. Nocera's talk was my favorite piece of 360 tonight, it was a great discussion.

Instead of watching a preview/promo for the CNN special "The People's Pope" (coming up next), I watched Hayes interview Bernie Sanders about the high prices for medicine in this country and what government could do about it. This issue popped up because Turing Pharmaceuticals increased the price for Daraprim by 5000% ($13.50 to $750 per pill). It's used mainly by AIDS patients to fight infections. I don't remember this story being on 360. Maybe tomorrow because Turing just hours ago said they would reduce the price.

Thanks, ATA, for the behind-the-scenes photos. The Pope's visit is great news but I hope 360 tomorrow has time for other news like Turing and Dararpim. The high cost of medicine is an issue that hits close to home.

Seeing President Obama (and family) on 360 is a pretty rare thing but it took the Pope's arrival to finally make it happen.

I agree with Jaanza about Anderson's interview with The New York Times' Joe Nocera--even if the piece had only consisted of the excerpts AC read from Nocera's article about Trump and Fiorina, the segment would've still been worthwhile because Nocera's assessment of both candidates was so devastating and really showed how unqualified they are for the presidency--Nocera's insight on Fiorina and Trump was a welcome change from the usual pundit noise on 360.

The report on the NYPD's methods for keeping The Pope and the city safe was interesting and I loved AC's interview in the helicopter with the all the shots of NYC.

Nice pics of AC and the crowd in D.C. and the pic of him sitting on the bleachers.

Tapper is Jewish, not sure about Wolf. Chris crumo is roman catholic so I'm not surprised he is all over this story. As I said AC seems not religious but he normally covers big catholic stories. I think it fascinates him. CNN is trying to dispute whether he is a "left leaning" pope and Francis really in disputed that to reporters. A lot of traditional catholics and conservatives feel he is liberal and all of that nonsense... they have been talking about the churches stance on homosexuality and Francis views on homosexuality and AC got quiet. Hahaha he changed the subject. This morning they were discussing pope Benedicts harsh language against gays and lesbians and AC was quiet on that, probably felt uncomfortable. AC should remember that despite his wealth and privilege at the end of the day is look at as just a homosexual "Sinner" by religious people. That includes Francis. Francis is just nicer about it.

I know this probably won't come up but I wish the topic of child abuse comes up to the Pope and it is known how we as Americans stand on this issue and that it is unacceptable! I know everyone is thrilled the Pope is here and I respect his humility and outreach to the poor but this issue is not and should go away until it is completely dealt with. We must not forget the victims and new victims in the future. We must make a voice for these abused children, this is not a joke... the church and law enforcement needs to clean it up and bring the predators to justice!

@CWM84 WOLF BLITZER IS OF THE JEWISH FAITH.....TAPPER IS NOT.
DONALD TRUMP'S INTERVIEW WITH SCOTT PALEY ON 60 MINUTES IS INTERESTING IF ONLY BECAUSE HE IS SOOO
RIGHT ABOUT THE MUSLIMS. CLIP IS NO HUFFPOST.
IN SUMMATION TRUMP SAID "THERE ARE BOTH GOOD AND BAD MUSLIMS, BUT IT IS A FACT THAT IT WAS MUSLIMS
THAT FLEW INTO THE TRADE CENTER, AND THEY DIDN'T FLY BACK TO SWEDEN."
ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE FORGIVEN.....THEY SHOULD OWN IT, FOREVER. IT IS ALWAYS
WILL BE, PART OF THEIR HISTORY. IT WAS AN ATROCITY, JUST LIKE THE THE GERMAN ATROCITY IN WORLD WAR
II....IT IS CALLED TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.

And Hilter was a baptized Roman Catholic so does that mean every Catholic is going to commit mass murder against gay, black and Jewish people? No. Same with Muslim. The extremes are the outliers and not the average.

WE AS A NATION CANNOT AFFORD ONE MISTAKE. HITLER DID WHAT HE DID IN HIS OWN COUNTRY, THOUGH HE EXPANDED AND HITLER DID NOT BELIEVE IN GOD.
WE CANNOT AFFORD TO BE WRONG ONCE. A MUSLIM PRESIDENT IS UNACCEPTABLE IN THE UNITED STATES.
AND MAY I REMIND YOU ANON 12:09 AM, THE BOSTON BOMBERS WERE FROM A MUSLIM COUNTRY.
BEN CARSON WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT AND IT WAS A POLITICALLY CORRECT STATEMENT TO MAKE....JUST OWN IT.
JUST LIKE THE GERMANS "OWN IT."

BIGOTED, ME?? AT LEAST I KNOW I WILL NEVER ACT ON IT. ACTIONS ALWAYS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS AND
SOMETIMES THEY EVEN KILL INNOCENT VICTIMS.
