DONALD TRUMP IS PLACING THE BLAME OF 9/11 RIGHT SMACK DAB WHERE IT SHOULD BE.....AT THE BUSH
ADMINISTRATION. IF THIS HORROR HAPPENED DURING THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION THE GOP WOULD BE GRILLING
EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE ADMINISTRATION FOR DECADES.
YES, DICK CHENEY USED BUSH AS HIS PUPPET, BUT BUSH WAS PRESIDENT AND HE SHOULD HAVE PUT ON HIS "BIG BOY
PANTS" AND DONE A LITTLE HARD CORE CHECKING THAT THE FBI AND THE CIA WERE HANDING HIM, INSTEAD OF
GOING ON THE LONGEST VACATION IN PRESIDENTIAL HISTORY, RIGHT BEFORE THAT FATEFUL DAY.
HAVING SAID THIS, HINDSIGHT IS ALWAYS 20/20 AND TRUMP'S CANVAS POLITICALLY IS BLANK.
CNN REPORTED ON THE SIT ROOM THAT TRUMP SAID HE "COULD HAVE PREVENTED 9/11....BUT WE ALL KNOW
THAT IS JUST A GUESS ON HIS PART. IT IS EASY TO SAY AFTER THE FACT THAT HE COULD HAVE CHANGED
HISTORY. W'S CANVAS IS FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH CHENEY'S MISTAKES IN FOREIGN POLICY, BUT THEY
DID WHAT THEY DID AND CONGRESS ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN.
SO NOW JEB IS FIGHTING AN UP HILL BATTLE BECAUSE OF HIS "BRO'S STUPIDITY."
GOOD FOR TRUMP FOR FINALLY TELLING IT LIKE IT IS. NO OTHER REPUBLICAN HAS THAT NERVE OR THAT BLANK CANVAS.

Thanks, ATA, for posting the '60 Minutes' piece. I didn't see the broadcast because football went way overtime and DH wanted to watch 'The Simpsons'.

This was top-notch field reporting. Anderson did a great job on a timely story. I don't think there's anything negative anyone can say about this report. So glad Anderson took the time to get to Greece and Austria and get the story now. And thanks for the extra photos especially the one of Anderson smiling at the little Syrian boy. His efforts to get the boy to get the boy to smile back at him (which he did!) was such a cute part of the report.

Now where's that person who complains that all Anderson does on '60 Minutes' is interview celebrities?

I'm glad 60 minutes had AC travel and get out on the field. I miss 360 using AC. They have really hurt his credibility with the partisan, too much political coverage and just sometimes useless stories. AC maybe content not to travel much anymore with having a long term partner or maybe he feels he has done it all as fall as field reporting. I just think he's a lot better and interesting doing field work. I felt the report could have been longer... I know you have to condense a report like that for time... I sympathize with the refugees but sometimes I wonder why some of the men aren't defending their land, homes. Its just a tough situation and for the children especially I empathize with. I think more middle east countries should do more because their culture is closer to them, than a Germany or Europe.
