I hope it's not too late to say Merry Christmas to everybody especially the wonderful folks at ATA who run this site.

If it is too late... then HAPPY DECEMBER 28TH!!!

Monday's 360 was anchored by Jim Sciutto. I got there late and barely watched but here's when I tuned in and what was on the screen:
:02 "Trump Speaks In New Hampshire" and a panel with David Ramadan, Jeffrey Lord and Amanda Carpenter
:18 "Trump Uses Clinton's Words To Attack Bill" also a panel
:28 "Officer's Won't Be Charged In Tamir Rice's Death" the panel included Sunny Hostin, Harry Houck and Mark Garages
:41 "Major Setback for Islamic State", Lt. Gen. Mark Herting was in the panel
:49 "Deadly Tornadoes and Flooding" Maria Mercado reported from Texas; there was also a Bulletin
:57 Number 3 of the top 3 Ridiculist vote-getters; this one was on the rather kooky California man who scared away a bear by shouting profanities and punching it.

I really can't complain about the Ridiculist because I never voted. So I'm not even sure what all the choices were. Did anyone here vote?

Interesting posts the other day on Anderson's New Year's Eve with Kathy Griffin. There are some who like the Anderson/Griffin dynamic and will watch. But there are some like me who won't. That's okay, if I'm home watching TV there are 200+ other channels to choose from. And I'm likely to be home. After an almost-crash over ten years ago, DH and I usually have a nice dinner out but get back home before 9 pm.

Anyway, CNN's NYE, here's what a local TV critic said in his Sunday column on what stands out in the upcoming week:
"Kathy Griffin's impression of a brat annoying her
big brother is the main reason to celebrate "New
Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper (7 PM
Thursday, CNN) but it'll be hard to ignore all the
bells and whistles emanating from "Dick Clark's
New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest" (7 PM
Thursday, KSTP ch. 5), including the world premiere
video of Taylor Swift's "Out of the Woods"...."

But I don't much like Ryan Seacrest or Taylor Swift either.

In a more perfect world Anderson would be able to have a longer vacation in Brazil.

MAYOR BILL DE BLASIO WHO IS MAYOR OF NYC HAS GAINED SOME RESPECT, FROM A VIEWER WHO HEARD HIM SPEAK
ABOUT DONALD TRUMP, AND THAT VIEWER IS ME.
HE ACTUALLY MADE SENSE AND SAID DONALD TRUMP IS MORE THAN BOMBASTIC, HE IS "DANGEROUS." YES, AND
THE MENTAL VISION OF HIM SITTING VERY CLOSE TO THE RED PHONE AND CALLING THE SHOTS ON NUCLEAR WAR,
IS REAL AND SCARY.
WE KNOW TRUMP IS NOT RATIONAL AND WE KNOW HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT FOREIGN POLICY AND WE KNOW HE DOESN'T
LISTEN TO OTHERS BECAUSE IN HIS MIND, NO ONE KNOWS MORE THAN HE DOES. SO TO SAY HE WILL HAVE ADVISERS ON FOREIGN POLICY MATTERS TO CONSULT WITH MAKES LITTLE DIFFERENCE. IN THE END, HE IS THE
DECIDER, AND UNLIKE W. HE WILL NOT HAVE A VP WHO WILL DOMINATE HIM.
TRUMP IS A BULLY AND HE MUST BE DEFEATED. HE IS NOT PART OF THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT, THIS
WE KNOW. SO HE IS DANGEROUS....JUST AS THE MAYOR OF NY SAID, WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN DE BLASIO'S FINEST MOMENT. HE IS NOT KNOWN TO HAVE MANY, AND AFTER A MAYOR WHO RAN THE CITY LIKE
A COOPERATION, MAYOR BLOOMBERG, WHO HAD FOUR TERMS, AND IS STILL CALLED "HIS HONOR" BECAUSE OF
THE RESPECT AND ADMIRATION, HIS CONSTITUENTS FELT FOR HIM OVER THE YEARS, DE BLASIO IS QUITE A COME DOWN.
TRUMP IS SO 'DANGEROUS' THAT IF IT WERE A TOSS UP BETWEEN HIM AND CHRISTIE, I'D VOTE FOR CHRISTIE,
AND YOU ALL KNOW BY NOW, HAVING LIVED IN NJ, I AM CERTAINLY NO FAN OF THE FORMER PROSECUTOR.
BUT HE WAS A PROSECUTOR AND THEN HE RAN A STATE. HE KNOWS GOVERNMENT....HE ALSO KNOWS HOW TO CLOSE BRIDGES, BUT THAT'S A STORY FOR ANOTHER TIME.
