I wasn't home during Thursday's 360, was hoping for a two-hour show but Anthony Bourdain was on.
Can't/won't even comment on the Ridiculist. I stopped watching when the second Trump clip started.

I was going to watch the post debate show for some highlights since I didn't want to watch the debate, but when I turned on CNN they didn't have any Dems on the panel at all I changed channel. I guess CNN/AC360 isn't even pretending that they aren't FOX lite these days?

I'm going to day this and I'm done. There are somethings I agree with Trump and some I don't but his answer to Ted Cruz was perfect when Cruz attacked New York for having "new york values." Its one thing for someone to attack a state but a foreigner at that is another. I'm not a new yorker but I suggest of Ted Cruz has a problem with New York values which are American values, why won't he go back to Canada! Take his loony Father with him. You don't get to the Presidency slamming states for their way of life, values. Not that Cruz was going to win New York in primary or general but it shows how much of a pompous jerk he is and why he is so unlike by dems and Republicans alike in the senate. He'll take New York money but hate values. Tells you a lot about Cruz and the insufferable, calculating conservative panderer that he is. I loathe Cruz more than anyone running and that's saying something!

Well if you did some research you would know that Cruz was born in Canada, but grew up in Houston, Texas. So to say he's against American Values is a bit much, especially since his values are conservative and represent the bible belt American South. Pretty sure Canada is pro-gay marriage, and they have no restrictions on abortion. Both of which Cruz is against. Just because he was born in Canada doesnt exactly make him a foreigner, he's American-Canadian.

Um... I'm not here to defend Cruz like you are. He is an insufferable tool and he is a foreigner compared to everyone on that state and native new yorkers since he was born and live in Canada and had citizenship until two years ago. And if he's against marriage equality and other things perhaps he should move else where. There are plenty of middle east, south American and African countries that don't have gay marriage or abortion. He is just a sore loser, his side lost the gay marriage issue and abortion has been settled 40 plus years ago. So back up your little attitude ok?

Not a fan or supporter of Cruz either, but as a Canadian raised there for 19 years I can tell you there is nothing Canadian about his views, not at all. Even though he's from Alberta which is considered the more conservative province, most people there have nothing close to the agenda Cruz is preaching. Where ever he got those ideas against gay marriage and abortion, it wasn't Canada.

NOW THAT TED CRUZ HAS SLAMMED NYC, HE CAN JUST ABOUT WRITE OFF THE FOLLOWING STATES AS WELL BECAUSE THEY
ARE ALL NEW YORK RELATED AND BETTER KNOWN AS THE TRI-STATE AREA: UP STATE NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY, CONNECTICUT, AND PARTS OF PENNSYLVANIA. NO THEY WERE NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR HIM ANYWAY, BUT NOW
THAT HE'S CLARIFIED HIS STUPIDITY, HE JUST TIGHTENED THE NOOSE AROUND HIS OWN NECK AND THAT'S,
AS THEY SAY IN NJ, 'IS FINE BY ME.' MY VALUES ARE NOT HIS VALUES AND AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED HE
MIGHT JUST HAVE ARRIVED FROM A SPACE STATION STRAIGHT FROM THE PLANET ZIRCON.
AND IF TRUMP WANTS TO DEMONIZE HIS FACIAL EXPRESSION AS WELL, THAT TOO IS, "FINE BY ME."

Cruz is a jerk. And insulting a states values is just not a smart move and is unamerican. Now many people won't vote for a him a foreigner who attacks american states. I don't care how long he's been in America he wasn't born here, he attacks a big states values. Its just offensive to me and I'm sure to other Americans. Cruz is banking on I guess to win from the south. Well Cruz, you have to take moderate swing states and non southern states to win nomination and the white house. GOP nominate him at your own peril. His antics, attacks may work in texas and Bible belt but hold little clout elsewhere, this is where his miscalculation will cost his pompous ass.

CWM84: YOU ARE RIGHT ON CRUZ. HE WASN'T BORN HERE AND THEREFORE HE IS NOT ELIGIBLE. HE IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL. IF IT IS A TOSS UP BETWEEN TRUMP AND HIM, I'D GO FOR TRUMP. WE DON'T SHARE THE
SAME WALLET....AS YOU WELL KNOW, BUT WE DO HAVE THE SAME VALUES AT LEAST WHEN IT COMES TO 9/11.
I SAW FIGHTER JETS FROM THE SCHOOL I TAUGHT IN, CIRCLING THE AREA AND YOU NEVER FORGET THAT.
NEVER. I WAS RIGHT ACROSS THE HUDSON RIVER.

I'm not even for Cruz. You're statements are just extreme and misinformed. Also he's not from New York he's from Texas so why are you comparing him to New Yorkers? The U.S. consists of more than just New York. He didn't just gain U.S. citizen ship. He had dual citizenship but dropped his Canadian citizenship two years ago.

UNICORNS BACON said...

That's exactly what I was trying to say

@UNICORNS: I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU WERE SPEAKING TO BUT, CRUZ IS THE ONE WHO BROUGHT UP NEW YORK.
EVIDENTLY YOU'RE THE ONE WHO IS MISINFORMED. HIS DIRECT QUOTE TO TRUMP WAS: "TRUMP HAS NEW YORK
VALUES." DUH

I won't be voting for either Trump or Cruz, but Cruz is as much of a natural born U.S. Citizen as Senator John McCain is and Congress passed a resolution stating McCain was eligible to be President. I'm guessing since Cruz is not well liked by most of his fellow Senators, going that route isn't an option for him.

As far as the "New York" values, it was Donald Trump who defined "New York values" in an interview he gave to Meet The Press in 1999. If Cruz was smart he would have phrased his attack better stating it was Trump who defined New York values and Trump has now flipped his position on those issues. Don't get me wrong, I have no love for Cruz, but I have no love from Trump either. I do have a love of facts. None of the Republican candidates share my values, so I will once again be voting for the Democratic nominee.

UNICORNS BACON said...

No I know what he said.

But CWM84 said "Ted Cruz has a problem with New York values which are American values" which isn't true. America is large country each region has different values. And Yes Cruz is from Texas so he obviously will have Southern values not New York values.

Cruz brought up New York because he was stating that New York is mostly Democratic and that Trump has New York values which means he is liberal. I don't see it as attacking New York he was attacking Trump. He is a conservative and so of course he is going to disagree with states that are pro-abortion and pro-samesex marriage. He's attacked Trump for not being "Conservative" before.

Also there's no need to DUH me. And that quote from Cruz you've used is not the full quote.

“Well, look, I think he may shift in his new rallies to play ‘New York, New York’ because Donald comes from New York and he embodies New York values,”

Again I don't quite understand how this is an insult to New York.

SARAH, PLAIN AND TALL HAS REEMERGED ON THE POLITICAL SCENE TO GET SOME OF THAT TRUMP LOVE.
HER ENDORSEMENT MEANS NOTHING BECAUSE ONLY STUPID PEOPLE TAKE HER SERIOUSLY, SO TRUMP WILL GET ALL
PEOPLE STUPID. AND IF THAT'S OKAY WITH HIM, FINE.
SARAH PALIN HAS TO FIND A WAY TO REMAIN RELEVANT AND BY TAGGING TRUMP SHE REMAINS ON MESSAGE,
GETS MEDIA ATTENTION, ESPECIALLY FROM CNN WHO WILL NOW ANALYZE HER ENDORSEMENT TO DEATH.
IMHO IT MEANS NOTHING.....EXCEPT SARAH IS TRYING WHAT I CALL "A JOHN MC CAIN," NOW THE FOCUS WILL
BE ON HER....MAYBE.
CNN RAN ALL OF TRUMP'S SPEECH IN IOWA WHICH TRUMP CALLED "A NICE BARN." HE ENDORSED HIMSELF, SIGHTED POLL NUMBERS ABOUT HIMSELF, AND THEN CONGRATULATED HIMSELF REPEATEDLY, ABOUT HIS POPULARITY
AND GREAT FINANCIAL SUCCESS. CAMPAIGNING FOR HIM MEANS CAPITALIZING ON ALL THINGS TRUMP, BUILDINGS,
LANDMARKS, GOLF COURTS. CAMPAIGNING IS FUN BECAUSE HE DOESN'T SPEAK ABOUT ISSUES OTHER THAN HIMSELF. IT IS HIS ONLY PREOCCUPATION. LOVE TO HEAR HIS SOTU: MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND
HOW I EXCELLED THIS YEAR. THE END.
