Anderson Cooper 360 on Monday, February 8, 2016

Anderson Cooper anchored an expanded two hour edition of AC360 from CNN's Washington, DC bureau ahead of the New Hampshire primary.   Most of the two hours was devoted to politics with an 8 person panel weighing in.  There was a funny moment where Anderson talked about the stages of a failing cable TV news program.  Enjoy ~

I got bored with the mostly politics show; there was about a minute and a half for a weather report only because it affects New Hampshire and might affect the primary tomorrow. I was in no mood to hear about politics especially concerning the 2016 presidential race. I've heard too much on that topic for the last six months and the election is still nine months away. All I could do was jot down the segment topics, I didn't listen to the particular details.

Anderson started with a short look at the New Hampshire weather situation then launched into talking about Trump. When I checked back later John King was crunching the poll numbers.

360 included a clip of Rush Limbaugh defending Marco Rubio. Why give that guy, among all the right-wing nut jobs with a forum out there, free advertising? Then it was the panel of Too Many Pundits - John King, Gloria Borger, David Axelrod, Ana-Malina Henderson, Bill Press, Jeffrey Lord, Paul Begala and another woman. The discussion started with Rubio but also covered Christie, Trump and Jeb.

Next was the segment on the Democratic candidates. Joe Johns reported from the Hillary Clinton campaign and Brianna Keller from Sanders'. Gary Tuchman had a report on 'why aren't young women liking Hillary?' and all of the women he talked to were at a Sanders campaign event. I thought to even it out he also should have talked to women at a Hillary event. You know, get both points of view.

The panel of 8 was back to discuss Sanders and Hillary.

Last segment of the first hour was another look at the New Hampshire weather. A meteorologist gave her expert opinion; when I looked at the TV I just missed the nanosecond in which her name appeared in fine print at the bottom of the screen. In the very last seconds of the first hour Anderson previewed the start of the second hour - "Trump on the Attack". Nope, didn't watch

Thanks for the photo of Anderson in the attic. That must be the attic to his 19th century firehouse. It looks awesome cool and I love the chandelier, wonder if it's original to the building.

HUFFPOST SAID IT BEST IN THEIR HEADLINE FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE: W T F.....WITH TRUMP AND MELANIA AND TRUMP'S DAUGHTER IVANKA RIGHT BY TRUMP'S SIDE....PROBABLY THINKING THE SAME THING AS THE HUFFPOST HEADLINE.
AT LEAST BERNIE WON ON THE DEMOCRATIC SIDE AND WHAT A DIVERSE COUPLING WHEN THE REAL CAMPAIGN
BEGINS. NOBODY REALLY KNOWS WHAT TO MAKE OF IT. POOR HILLARY....IF NOT NOW, WHEN??? NEVER.

That attic is the size of my apartment, so gorgeous! @jaanza I think it's the Connecticut mansion/house, I don't think the firehouse has a pointed roof like that. Either way, i would happily live in that attic :)
