Anderson Cooper 360 on Monday, April 25, 2016

Anderson Cooper was back in the AC360 anchor chair and anchored an expanded two hour edition of AC360 from the NYC studio.  Much of the program was devoted to the remaining Republican presidential candidates, but towards the end of the second hour there was a segment on Prince being celebrated in a private funeral and what Prince's religion meant to him:

and the final segment of the program was about new developments in the Ohio slayings:

With tomorrow night being Super Tuesday #5 it will be at least Wednesday before we get any more non-political news on AC360.

Just Jared had a few photos of Anderson at his book signing at Bookends Bookstore in N.J. on Sunday:

Gov. John Kasich came off sweaty, nervous, angry and cranky during AC's interview with him. There have been a few articles written about how "Mr. Nice Guy" Kasich isn't so nice after all--this apparently isn't new information but the press was in such a hurry to coronate him as the sane Republican in order to distinguish him from Trump and Cruz.

The MSM seems fine with ignoring the vile racist atmosphere that still surrounds Donald Trump's campaign rallies--not a word on 360 about Trump's crowd in Philly yelling "kill them all" instead of the usual "build the wall" chant they do. The crowd also booed Trump when he said he'd do well with African-Americans in the general election--making nice with minorities isn't what Trump is known for or what his crazed racist base wants from him but the media just wants to talk about the horse race. They will be complicit in electing a known racist for POTUS if Trump gets to the White House.

HUFPOST'S ARIANNA HUFFINGTON SAYS SHE IS STILL GOING TO PROFILE TRUMP AS THE BUFFOON HE REALLY IS,
AND WILL DISREGARD THE MEDIA'S OBSESSION WITH HIM, AND TRUMP IS A MEDIA OBSESSION.
I COULDN'T WATCH WOLF BLITZER ONE MORE MINUTE AS HE GLEEFULLY ANNOUNCED TRUMP'S FIVE STATE WIN.
WHAT HE FAILED TO SAY WAS THAT TRUMP BEAT TWO OTHER EQUALLY OBNOXIOUS BUFFOONS, AND HILLARY HAD
REAL COMPETITION WITH SANDERS RIGHT AT HER HEELS.
YES, SADERS WON RHODE ISLAND BUT THAT WAS TO BE EXPECTED. IN THE GENERAL ELECTION HILLARY WILL SMASH TRUMP TO
BITS.....BUT GOING AFTER HIS MONEY AND LIFE STYLE IS NOT A GOOD STRATEGY.
SHE IS GOING TO BE PAINTED AS THE PERSON CLOSEST TO WALL STREET, AND A KNOWN PERSONALITY WHO MADE
LARGE SUMS THROUGH SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS. SHE IS NO PAUPER, AND NEITHER IS THE FORMER PRESIDENT. NONE OF THIS IS ILLEGAL, BUT IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM ETHICAL TO THE AVERAGE VOTER.
AND NOW A WORD ABOUT PRINCE. WHILE I WAS NEVER A FAN, AND REALIZE HE WAS ADORED BY MANY FOR HIS TALENT, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD HE NOT TAKE FINANCIAL ADVICE AND LEAVE $300 MILLION DOLLARS, WITHOUT A WILL?? WHO DOES THIS?
MICHAEL JACKSON, WHO I DID FAVOR, WAS NOT ONLY A GREAT TALENT, BUT AN EXCELLENT BUSINESS MAN.
HE SOLD ALL HIS MUSIC, TO PAUL MCCARTNEY, WAY BEFORE HIS DEATH. NEED IS SAY MORE.

Jackson bought the Beatles music catalog and Paul us in the process of getting it back. Paul never bought anything from Jackson.

ACCORDING TO FORTUNE MAGAZINE, MICHAEL JACKSON WAS A VERY SAVVY BUSINESS MAN AND HE DID SELL HIS
MUSIC. I THOUGHT IT WAS SOLD TO PAUL MC CARTNEY, BUT I WOULDN'T ARGUE THE POINT. MY POINT WAS, HE
HAD FORESIGHT TO DO THIS AND HE THOUGHT AHEAD. HIS DAUGHTER, PARIS IS NOW GOING TO INHERIT A TIDY
LITTLE SUM, IN INCREMENTS AS SHE AGES....AND THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE.
DOLLY PARTON, ALSO SOLD HER MUSIC TO WHITNEY HOUSTON, "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU," HOUSTON'S CLASSIC
SONG...AND YOU CAN GOOGLE IT.
BECAUSE PRINCE FAILED TO THINK AHEAD, HIS ONE SURVIVING SIBLING WILL INHERIT "A MESS."
