Anderson Cooper 360 on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 + Anderson Cooper & Gloria Vanderbilt on the Charlie Rose Show

Anderson Cooper anchored AC360 from the site of the CNN Cruz Family Town Hall.  The hour was all politics.  Paul Begala was a guest on a segment concerning Bernie & Hillary.  We love us some Paul Begala:

After the Cruz Family Town Hall Anderson spoke with Don Lemon for a few minutes on CNN Tonight:

Wednesday's 360 had less Trump than Tuesday's but I still spent a fair amount of time watching Hayes. Anderson started with a reminder about the Cruz Town Hall coming up in an hour but the lead story was Trump, Trump's complaints about the RNC, the RNC's response and the non-prosecution of Trump campaign manager Lewandowski for battery on reporter Michelle Fields. Sara Murray, at a Trump event, gave more details on all of that but it was hard to hear her. Go ahead and report from live events but please, for the viewers, make sure ahead of time - before going on air - that you can be heard. Then it was the panel of Gloria Borger, Amanda Carpenter, Kaleith McEnany and some guy. It looked like it would be entirely about Trump so I switched to Hayes.

When I got back to 360, a Tom Foreman report was in progress before the panel started again. The discussion sounded just like yesterday's, same questions and answers so back to Hayes.

The Democratic side segment was moved up a little from its usual 360 spot. Chris Cuomo reported from the Sanders rally in Washington Square Park and Joe Johns from the Clinton event in the Bronx. Here the panel was Gloria Borger, Paul Begala and a brunette woman who's name flashed on the screen for a nanosecond. I'm guessing her name is Monika Korst. The talk was on each campaign, the Verizon strikers, the NY primary, the upcoming convention and delegates.

Next segment was on a possible Trump/Clinton debate. Anderson had McEnany, Begala and Nick Lazio on the set for this talk but I wasn't in the mood for this kind of speculation now. More Hayes, at this time covering the sexual abuse charges against and settlement payout from former Rep. Dennis Hastert (R-IL). Funny how this story never got on 360.

Last up was another fluffy Randi Kaye report, this time on the Cruz family. No thanks. Hayes again.

I'll try to get some time tomorrow on the better computer to watch the ATA videos.

DON LEMON IS VERY ANNOYING. I DISLIKE THE WAY HE RUNS PANELS AND HE IS VERY PRO TRUMP.
EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS TRUMP RELATED. SOMEONE HAS TO TELL HIM TO QUIT THE HYPE AND SPEAK ABOUT
OTHER RELATED ISSUES.
HE ALSO SLANTS THINGS HIS WAY AS IN THE DEBATES BETWEEN HILLARY AND SANDERS. IT IS SO OBVIOUS WHO
HE IS FOR. HE ALSO COULD USE SOME SCHOOLING ON VARIOUS ISSUES OF THE DAY.
I HAPPENED TO CATCH HIM THE OTHER NIGHT AT A RARE MOMENT. IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN.
