Lovely photo of AC with the children in Malawi.
@aries moon I agree with you about the photo of Anderson with the children in Malawi. He's talked about his love of Africa for a long time and it shows in his face and in his reporting from the various countries in Africa. I will also always remember the photos of him with the children in Haiti reporting on the earthquake there. The smile on his face seems extra genuine when he's photographed with children.
John Berman has been doing a good job anchoring AC360 in Anderson's absence and I'm guessing Anderson is enjoying a break from U.S. politics. If I were him I may think about extending the trip!!
Yes anon 10:34 pm, Africa seems to be in his heart and has had a strong impact on him throughout his career.
