THE PHOTO OF THE WOMAN WHO LOST HER CHILD IN THE MASSACRE, HOLDING AC'S HAND IS QUITE ODD.
SHE HAS A WIDE GRIN ON HER FACE. I KNOW EVERYONE DEALS WITH GRIEF DIFFERENTLY BUT YOU'D NEVER
KNOW SHE JUST LOST HER SON IN A AN ALL OUT SHOOTING SPREE. IT IS BIZARRE TO SAY THE LEAST.

Most praised AC for his questioning and bringing up the AG of Florida past fight to keep marriage as one man and one woman. But a few thought it was in the place, that it shamed her and out right bullied her. I thought the emotions just got the best of him. Ac says he doesn't want to be an advocate and he certainly is not going to gay prife parades. But how can this not affect him. AC has had every possible advantage in life. Wealth, power, celebrity... but one thing he will always be known for as gay. And for some its like a too bad sort of thing... the attack last week was not just an attack from one of ISIS inspired POS... but the whole GLBT community was attacked for a reason. The killer knew why he did this. It was from hate... deeply rooted hate probably conditioned from his father, culture and religion. Afghanistan like many countries in middle has a punishment for gay people. Life in person or executed. He pledge to a group that throws gays off buildings and beat them to death. Yes... I understand what AC was doing questioning in a way america's own long history of homophobia and discrimination against people like him. Its that one thing he can can't control... that many if could would imprison him or worse... if he was overseas. This is personal. AC has been to many gay bars. His partner owns a few. This hit home. Perhaps he went top far at wrong time... but perhaps he was questioning not just Pam but America's own long history of prejudice, discrimination, hate attacks on... well him and so many in his community. Non advocate another... we are still humans, that feel and long to be in a group, a community, a family. AC's was attack. It was on american soil and America should look deep inside and ask, "Just maybe we were behind the trigger too, for far too long."

It probably hasn't sunk in yet, give it a couple days. As for your comment I find it odd that you say people grieve in different ways then saying you'd never know she just lost her son that is stupid and insensitive.

I loved Anderson's interview with FL AG Pam Bondi and his defense of it the next day. Anderson needs to do more hard-hitting interviews especially with those in public office, they need to be held accountable for what they do especially when it doesn't match what they say.

Anderson had a personal stake in covering the Orlando shooting. That's okay. I'd like to see him get just as concerned when it comes to things like voting rights.

@CWM84:'"BUT ONE THING HE WILL EVER BE KNOWN FOR IS GAY."
THIS IS PARAPHRASED FROM YOUR COMMENT ABOUT ANDERSON. I TOTALLY DISAGREE. HALF HIS AUDIENCE
DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HE'S GAY AND I GET THE FEELING HE LIKES IT THAT WAY.
AC WILL BE KNOWN FOR HIS QUALITY REPORTING AND EMPATHETIC INTERVIEWS, AND PERHAPS HIS ABILITY
TO WRITE. BEING GAY IS SECONDARY TO HIM. HE IS A JOURNALIST FIRST AND FOREMOST.

Fox just did a piece on how AC's questioning of Bondi was biased. One of the men discussing ACs reporting was a gay conservative/Republican guy who literally said "I only watch FOX news...". Is FOX for real?!?

SO THE NRA WON AGAIN....ACCORDING TO HUFFPOST THE GUN CONTROL BILL IN THE SENATE, WHICH WAS
TEPID AT BEST, DIDN'T GET ENOUGH VOTES FROM THE HYPOCRITES, WE ELECTED TO SERVE US. NADA
SO HOW MANY HAVE TO BE KILLED AFTER THE LAST SHOOT OUT? 49 WASN'T ENOUGH? LET'S GO FOR DOUBLE
THAT NEXT TIME. YA THINK??
ALL OF THE VIGILS WERE WHAT, JUST A TRADITION, A RITUAL WITH NO MEANING? SEEMS THAT WAY.
NEXT TIME ANDERSON VISITS WITH THOSE THAT LOST THEIR LOVE ONES.....AND HE WILL BE THERE,
MAYBE HE'LL ADDRESS THE REAL ISSUE, GUNS. HE HAS YET TO ADDRESS IT, AND UNTIL HE DOES, I REFUSE TO WATCH CNN.
OH, AND SOMEONE ATTEMPTED TO KILL TRUMP AT A RALLY. (MAYBE IT WAS SOMEONE HIRED FROM THE GOP.)
