Nice to see Anderson back at work. Just wish the content of Monday's 360 had been better.

The show started out with a very good segment on Brexit. Anderson talked to Ali Velshi about the economic fallout including the stock market, 401Ks, some background on the Brexit vote and if there are parallels in the U.S. After a report (same one that was on Tapper's show) Anderson discussed Brexit with Christiane Amanpour and Richard Quest. They covered all the bases listed above and included the "Leave" leaders walking back their promises and the immigration issue. Quest called the Brexit situation a "spider's web of complexity" and "one unholy mess in the global economy".

Trump has again changed his position on a Muslim ban. Sunian Serfaty had the report and a panel of the usual pundits (five of them) started with Kaleigh McEnany. I switched to Hayes.

The next segment was part two of the panel discussion on Trump and Muslims; didn't watch.

John King did a "By The Numbers" report with new poll numbers, the big one showing Clinton leading Trump nationally and the numbers of other detailed polls. The panel started again and I left again.

Flooding is still happening in West Virginia. Martin Savidge had a report and a Q&A with Anderson.
At the end of the first hour Anderson previewed the start of the second hour - a story on Trump and Muslims.

The second hour historically gets less (sometimes far less) ratings than the first hour. Anderson must know this. But while Hayes can squeeze a variety of news stories into one hour and cover them well, Anderson doesn't. Hayes had the 2016 campaign with special attention to Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren's rally today and what they said about Trump, the SCOTUS decision on the Texas abortion bill, the LGBT v. white supremacist clashes in Sacramento, "The Plot to Stop Trump", Brexit, two more SCOUTS decisions today (no guns for domestic abusers, VA Governor acquitted of corruption charges) and Hayes' own special report on the effect of climate change on Houma, Louisiana.

Anderson had too much on Trump and the 2016 presidential race. If he had more of the important news stories of the day in the second hour it doesn't count. It doesn't count because I and so many other regular 360 viewers didn't watch.

SO ISIS ALLEGEDLY STRIKES AGAIN, AND THE HAND WRINGING BEGINS. THIS TIME IT WAS EXPLOSIVES,
SO THE NRA IS OFF THE HOOK FOR THIS EVENT.
NOT THAT I AM UNSYMPATHETIC, I AM FOR THE FAMILIES THAT HAVE LOST A LOVED ONE, BUT AT LEAST,
IT OVERSHADOWED TRUMP'S BIGGGGG ECONOMIC WHATEVER, WITH A CHRISTMAS LIKE BACKGROUND. WHAT WAS
THAT? I SAW HIS BLEACHED WHITENED TEETH AND HIS FAKE TAN, WITH HIS DYED TO MATCH REDDISH BLOND
WEAVE, AND QUICKLY CHANGED THE CHANNEL. HE STILL DOESN'T LOOK PRESIDENTIAL BECAUSE HE ISN'T.
OF COURSE 360'S ANDERSON COOPER SHOWED A CLIP, OF WHAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY A MEANINGFUL PREMONITION OR FOREWARNING OF
TRUMP SAYING, "SOMETHING'S BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN." YES, SOMETHING BAD DID HAPPEN. WAS THAT
ZUCKERS WAY OF TELLING US THAT DONALD DUCK CAN FORESEE THE FUTURE AND HE KNOWS FOREIGN POLICY?? IT MADE MOST REASONABLE THINKING VIEWERS, GATHER THEIR WITS AND COME TO THE CONCLUSION "THIS CLOWN KNOWS FAR LESS THAN I THOUGHT."
AND LEWANDOWSKI, FORMER TRUMP CAMPAIGN MANAGER, HAS LOST HIS MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR BOOK DEAL
BECAUSE OF THE "NONDISCLOSURE CLAUSE" ALL TRUMP EMPLOYEES ARE MADE TO SIGN. TRANSLATION: "I REALLY CAN'T TELL YOU WHY IVANKA FIRED ME." OH SO SAD.
