Interesting that AC360 had racist Jeff Lord on to talk about Trump's racist comments. Maybe Lord has cleaned up his Twitter rants since he's a commentator on CNN, but he used to tweet some pretty racist stuff. I was rather shocked when he was hired by CNN. You could tell that Anderson was getting frustrated with Lord deflecting and it was interesting to finally hear Anderson calling Lord out on it. I can't believe the topic was covered for 45 minutes and there was no mention of Mohammad Ali's death the entire two hours.

Also found it interesting that about 1/2 way through the first hour of AC360 the AP declared that Hillary Clinton had enough delegates to become the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party, but there was no mention until it was breaking news on CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. It was picked up by the NYT and plenty of media outlets for AC360 to have covered it at least in the second hour, but they were busy talking about tomorrow's primaries and what would Bernie Sanders do IF Hillary Clinton secured the required number of delegates. There was a countdown clock to CNN's coverage of the primaries on the screen the entire two hours of AC360. I guess Clinton getting the delegates tonight would have meant adjustments to AC360's planned panel discussion and that was more important than news that a woman has been a major party nominee in the U.S. for the first time in history?

From the looks of the AC2 Live show schedule, it looks like Anderson will be taking some Friday night's off AC360 for his tour with Andy Cohen.

I was three minutes late; Anderson just finished talking to Dana Bash. A Sara Murray report started on Trump and Judge Curiel, Trump's call for surrogates (parrots) to also diss Curiel and a few GOPers dismay about it all. There were few questions to Murray and then the Panel of Too Many Pundits. Ana Navarro's name was said but she didn't actually show up until the third segment (not sure, was watching a lot of Hayes). Trump parrot Jeffrey Lord got the first question. I watched Hayes interview Micheal Steele. I checked back occasionally, it looked like Lord and John Jay Lavelle (another Trump parrot) got most of the time and attention.

Lord also go the first question at the start of the second segment. Hayes meanwhile was having an awesome interview with Rep. Filomen Vela (D-TX). When I got back to 360, Lavelle was hogging the discussion. The two women, ? del Pelsino (sp?) and Maggie Habermas got to speak last. Habermas's excellent and positive comment on Curiel was cut short by Anderson.

The third segment had John King at the Magic Map with numbers on Latino voters, how they voted in the past and how they might vote in November. I asked for a showdown between Ana Navarro and Kaliegh McEnany. Instead it was Jeffrey Lord. Lord said Hispanics should vote for Trump because jobs. Navarro cut that down: Hispanics want respect and won't excuse Trump's Curiel comments. Lord tried a different tactic, stating 'we shouldn't be off-tracked by race, blamed others for the off-trackedness and Curiel brought this on himself by joining a Hispanic group. Navarro responded: it's networking, lots of groups do it, GOPer Schwarzenegger appointed Curiel because of his strong prosecution background on Mexican drug cartels. This should have had more time.

I missed the start of the segment on Hillary Clinton vs. Bernie Sanders. There was a report on the Sanders campaign and the delegate count. Anderson had a couple questions for Jeff Zeleny then started a panel of Carl Bernstein, Jonathan Tasini and another guy who didn't get to talk.

During the commercial break I watched Hayes cover the *BREAKING NEWS* that the AP and NBC have declared Hillary Clinton the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party. So I didn't see most of the last segment of the first hour, which was a continued talk with the panel from the fourth segment.
Before the end of the first hour, Anderson previewed the start of second hour: Trump asking surrogates to complain about Curiel and the press. I didn't watch the second hour.

@ Anonymous 12:07 - I didn't bother listening to Jeffrey Lord except for the Ana Navarro segment; thanks for paying closer attention than I did.
I've pretty much stopped expecting Anderson/360 to cover anything but politics anymore. The full-show coverage of Prince's death was a big surprise. In the past two weeks Anderson hasn't even covered the latest news on EgyptAir 804.
Regarding the news on Hillary Clinton as the presumptive nominee, was the second hour of 360 live? Really truly live? You can't trust the LIVE button in the corner of the screen because it's on constantly even during interviews which Anderson introduces by saying, "I spoke to (Important Person) a short while ago..."

Tomorrow will be excessive coverage of the five-state primary. I expect gobs of coverage on all things Trump, a few minutes here and there on the Democratic race and Anderson tossing questions to Too Many Pundits. I expect not to watch.

Trump, Jeff Lord and all the rest of his surrogates are all crazy racists but there have been many members of the GOP who were tossing around racist nonsense/insults about President Obama and family long before Trump ever entered the race--POTUS has been disrespected by Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Jan Brewer and the "you lie" guy Joe Wilson in addition to other GOPers throughout his presidency--Donald Trump's nasty racism isn't exactly an anamoly within the GOP, in spite of declarations from Tara Setmayer and Ana Navarro. Did ANY of them speak up as forcefully when POTUS was regularly subjected to racist hate and disrespect by some in their party? It's laughable to watch Republicans say how outraged they are by Trump's behavior when for years they've pretty much encouraged it. Recent studies have been done that show that Trump supporters are driven by racial resentment more than economic anxiety--the GOP knows this and have exploited this sort of thing for decades but NOW they're APPALLED with the monstrous, racist candidate THEY created? Give me a break.

It made no sense whatsoever for 360 to ignore the big breaking news that Hillary Clinton clinched the Democratic nomination.

I can't remember whether it was Hayes or Maddow who interviewed the guy from NBC politics to explain why they called it for HRC when they did, but I found the explanation fascinating. Unlike other networks they contacted the super delegates and basically asked them if they were still voting for HRC and went by that info and they said while some might change their mind before the convention there weren't enough to make BS the nominee. Now if this were another network they would say basically theyt were guessing and didn't have time to fact check.

Here is what the NYTimes said about the AP declaring HRC the presumptive nominee:

The A.P. declared Mrs. Clinton the presumptive nominee by reaching out to superdelegates who had not announced which candidate they were supporting, and confirming that enough were backing Mrs. Clinton to get her to the magic number of 2,383.

Sorry BS time to pull out and save face if you can.

CNN certainly has turned into Clinton news network. They have Trump on but only to attack him while Hillary is being treated like a saint. Trump had every reason to question the judge when the judge is part of La Raza. Its a group were they feel illegals should get more rights. And it would not surprise me if the judge has a conflict of interest because of Trumps talk about a wall and trade and against illegal immigratation. This is what the media is not saying. They make it seem Trump is just some bigot, when time and time again in his life he has oroven otherwise. Trump was good friends with Muhammad Ali. A muslim. He held many fundraisers for Ali. He was given an award for his chairity in 2007 by Ali. The media ignores that tho. Just like they ignore Hillarys dismal record in foreign policy. The war she voted for based on lies and hearsay. The fact she ignored and lied about Benghazi. The diaster that was libya... the fact she gets funding by terrorist orgainzations. The media ignores it all. Why many executives are part of Obama and Clinton campaigns. Clinton says women should be paid equally but her own foundation pays women kess than men! She is a big phony and liar and CNN, Msnbc, cbs, abc, nbc are all portecting her! Nothing is fair and balance in world of reporting anymore by mainstream media. If you go after Trumo, fine. Its fair game but don't act like Hillary is some saint because she is not. The whole system has been rigged for her since she decided to run again!

You know what I have observed. Libs, dems, Obama and blacks can use race card as a source of bias or injustice aganist them but of you are white and republican you can't! Its a clear case of hypocrisy and double standards from the media and society as a whole. Dems ans libs have been using race as a topic to blame for racial inequality, economic inequality for decades now. Onama can use race for bias against him. But a white male does it and is not a liberal he is precieved as racist. Trump supporters are attacked by people burning american flags and wearing shirts saying, "make mexico america again" and Trump gets blamed but if the people where white southern people they would be called racist! Its all racial double standards that society and media has allowed to continue without any real rebuttal! That in itself is not fair. I say that as a person of mix heritage. Black, white and native and indepedent. There is a double standard in our society of race discussions and who can use race to their injustice! When in fact there are many crimes in american when whited are target by blacks and its not considered a hate crime but vice versa it is. Just an observation.

ANA NAVARRO SPOKE UP ABOUT THIS JUDGE BECAUSE SHE IS OF THE LATINO HERITAGE.
WHILE I AGREE THAT THE POTUS HAS BEEN DISRESPECTED BY THE GOP AND CNN, ON MANY OCCASIONS,
THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A TIME IN RECENT HISTORY WHEN TRUMP'S KIND OF RACISM HAS BEEN SO BLATANT
AND UNAPOLOGETIC. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN IGNORANCE AND BLATANT
DISRESPECT.
I AGREE WITH VAN JONES ON THE PANEL. TRUMP IS A 'RACIST OPPORTUNIST' AND JEFF LORD SHOULD BE
PULLED FROM THE PANEL BUT HE'S THERE BECAUSE "JEFF LORD" MAKES FOR GOOD COMMENTARY AND DRAMA.
DRAMA IS THE NEW WORD IN REALITY TV AND REALITY TV, WHO GAVE US 'DONALD TRUMP,' HAS NO STANDARDS.
SO IF TRUMP, GFB, EVER SETS FOOT IN THE WHITE HOUSE, HE WILL BECOME THE "REALITY PRESIDENT."
AND THE MEDIA WILL THEREFORE GIVE HIM "ANOTHER PASS," BECAUSE HE IS WHO HE IS AND AFTER ALL, ANCHORS LIKE ANDERSON, MUST HAVE ACCESS TO THIS 'NEW SPECIES OF CANDIDATE,' OR AS WE KNOW
HIM THE CANDIDATE FROM "HELL."

The dems use race all the time. Liberals. Difference is it is not socially acceptable for white people to question injustice based on heritage. That is all Trump did. If a black person did it, it would be seen as no problem with media, political establishment. Dsme with blacks not having all white juries because they feel they can be bias. Why can't Trump bring up same thing when this judge is of mexican heritage and is part of LA Raza and radical illegal immigrant rights group! Its a double standards for white americans. Black lives matter, anti trump supporters eho riot do for racist and very violent actions but since they are against him it is generally accepted by CNN, abc, nbc, cbs, msnbc. Its a double standard. Trump raised a valid point, just as a black person would for an all white jury! But again, its not accpeted for whites to raise questions about racial bias against them.

@CWMB84: TRUMP HAD NO BUSINESS BRINGING UP ANYBODIES ETHNICITY ESPECIALLY A SITTING FEDERAL
JUDGE. IT IS NOT PART OF HIS CAMPAIGN AGENDA AND IT MATTERS NOT, ONE LITTLE BIT TO
THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT HE IS INVOLVED IN A LAW SUIT, EXCEPT THAT THE 'CON MAN' IS BEING SUED
FOR "FRAUD." IT MATTERS NOT TO ANYONE WHO IS REASONABLY INTELLIGENT IF HE WINS OR DOESN'T WIN
THE CASE. THE MERE FACT THAT HE TRIED, IN VAIN TO DUPE HIS ATTENDEES IS THE BASIS OF THE CASE.
IT IS NOT ABOUT RACE, AND THERE IS NO BIAS AGAINST DONALD TRUMP. HE WILL NOT ADMIT HE DID SOMETHING WRONG BECAUSE HIS EGO WILL NOT ALLOW HIM TO DO SO. HIS CAMPAIGN IS IN SPLINTERS NOW
BECAUSE HE DOES NOT KNOW ANY OF THE PERTINENT ISSUES FACING THIS COUNTRY AND HE WILL LOSE, NOT BECAUSE HE IS A RACIST, BUT BECAUSE HE IS PLAIN IGNORANT. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DOUBLE
STANDARDS. YOU DON'T INSULT A SITTING JUDGE, WHETHER YOU'RE BLACK, WHITE, LATINO OR A GREEN
PERSON FROM ANOTHER PLANET!
