I watched 2 minutes and 14 seconds of CNN's primary coverage... on Gawker. They had an article on Gawker titled "CNN Commentator: Trump's Remarks Weren't Racist, They Were "Calling Attention to Racism" ". The CNN Commentator is Jeffrey Lord.
Gawker had a clip.
After the clip, Hudson Hongo the article writer asks, "Can you believe this shit? Van Jones cannot believe this shit."

Several of those who replied to the article wonder why CNN keeps Lord on the air. 360 in the past at least didn't give airtime to Katrina Pierson (as far as I could see). Maybe Anderson should kick Lord to the curb because CNN & 360 does not need this kind of media coverage.

Jeff Lord was being ridiculed all over Twitter and the political media sites--he's an embarrassment trying to push racist nonsense that only Trump supporters buy into. I saw an article once with him bragging that Jeff Zucker told him that he keeps him around because he's so controversial and makes liberals angry--this wouldn't surprise me but it hurts CNN's reputation to have Lord in such a prominent position on CNN's political panels--his views aren't really what most sensible, fair-minded people agree with and he was rightfully pummelled by the AC360 panel.

Katrina Pierson did make a few appearances on 360 in the past before Trump got the nomination but she came off snide and rude to AC and I had the feeling she pissed him off--she disappeared for a long time on 360 but unfortunately she's back. I'm not sure if Trump has one decent surrogate--probably not possible considering how awful he is to begin with.

I skip CNN these days but did watch the speeches. Good speeches by both Trump and Clinton. Trump should do more. Trump has a big speech monday on Clinton and I can't wait. She has been attacking him relentlessly and hopefully Trump can highlight somethings about Clinton that the MSM refuses too. I think the dems did a big mistake by not giving Bernie more of a chance. He has a cleaner record and is more likeable than Hillary. He also is way more trustworthy and honest.

Thanks to the mods for not blocking my rebuttals against the whole Trump making points of biasness against him. I know most people who post here are super liberals and loathe trump. Which is ok. I'm not voting for him but it is only fair for pointing out who the media, libs are being hypocritical in this situation. Actually society in general when it comes to racial, ethnic bias. Should a latino judge excuse themselves over an immigration case? Should Justice Thomas not vote in affirmative action cases? Should blacks be allowed to have all white juries? See who the script is change? Should a glbt person preside over gay rights cases? If we knock trump over his comments about this judge who is of mexican heritage and part of several hispanic groups... then we need to ask ourselves questions about more situations in our justice system and how we see racial interaction in general in our society. We must recongnize that Trump is white and not a liberal and that is why he is being attacked like this. But if he was black and the judge was part of white advocacy groups everyone would be clapping and agreeing with him. Its a double standard in our society and that was my whole point of rebutall. Thanks again to mods for allowing my points.

YES, I AGREE "KICK JEFF LORD TO THE CURB" AND LEAVE HIM THERE. I DON'T MIND ANOTHER VIEW POINT, NO ONE HERE DOES, BUT IT HAS TO MAKE SENSE AND VAN JONES WAS THE ONLY ONE TO TELL LORD
THAT WHAT HE WAS SAYING WAS NONSENSE. FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT IN EXCESS: JEFF LORD AND SIDE KICK
DONALD DUCK, CAN YELL 'FIRE IN A CROWDED THEATER' AND GET AWAY WITH IT.
SO GLAD FOR HILLARY. THE NY POST HAD HER ON THE FRONT PAGE: "THE FIRST LADY"AND SHE LOOKED SO PROUD!
SOMEONE HAS TO TELL DONALD DUCK, LOVE THAT NICK NAME, HIS WIFE MELANIA SHOULD NOT HAVE WORN
A BRIGHT VIOLET DRESS AT THE PODIUM. WE KNOW WHY SHE WAS THERE, TO MAKE
THE DUCK, SEEM LEGIT, BUT IT HAD THE OPPOSITE AFFECT. NOT THAT I LISTENED TO ANYTHING THE AS- HOLE
HAD TO SAY.
SPEAKING OF BRANDING, THE NY TIMES OR WAPO BOTH HAVE OP EDS ABOUT HOW THE TRUMP NAME IS GOING TO MEAN 'LOSER' IF DONALD DUCK LOSES. DO WE CARE??
TO MOST REASONABLE PEOPLE, THE MINUTE WE HEAR OR SEE HIM, WE SEE 'A RACIST.'
EVERYTHING ELSE THAT HE BLATHERS, FROM NOW UNTIL NOVEMBER MEANS NOTHING....AND 'THAT'S A
VERY GOOD THING,' AS MARTHA STEWART WOULD SAY.
