"New Poll Shows Tighter Race In Key States" was the on-screen title at the very start of Thursday's 360. But Anderson didn't get to that topic until the third segment. The lead story was last night's "Commander-in-Chief Forum" and what the candidates said. Briana Keller reported and spent a good amount of time on Trump's claim he was always against the Iraq War and the facts which show he's lying. There was a very good report by a guy who's name I didn't get about GOP politicians having to disclaim or explain what Trump said and still try to support him or, as it was shown in the report, avoiding the reporter's questions about Trump altogether. Next a panel of 5 started. Neither Kaliegh McEnany or Jeffrey Lord was there but I switched to Hayes anyway.
Instead of a panel of 5, Hayes talked to three different guys individually about Trump's ridiculous remarks; they were former Ambassador to Iraq Christopher R. Hill, former Marine officer Phil Klay and formerly with the Romney campaign Stuart Stevens. This worked out so much better than the panels of too many pundits.

However in 360's second segment on Trump's intelligence briefings and what Trump claimed to have learned (via body language) from them, Anderson talked to two really good experts. Philip Mudd and David Priess did a great job discussing what the intelligence briefings are all about and why Trump's implications are ludicrous.

During the break there was a commercial for the repeat of CNN's special "The Essential Donald Trump" to air on Saturday. Where's the "Essential" Hillary?

Anderson introduced the topic of the poll numbers then switched gears for a clip of Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson asking "What is Aleppo?" before switching back to the polls without any further look at Johnson's remark. John King and the Magic Map went through the state polls and the electoral college map before Gloria Borger and Kirsten Powers provided some analysis.

Because of Hayes and football I was late getting to the fourth segment about the upcoming debates. But I was glad to see Anderson covering this with just David Axelrod and Stuart Stevens (the guy certainly gets around) instead of the usual panel.

The last segment of the first hour was on Dana Bash's interview with Trump Veep Mike Pence. I checked out Hayes and came back a bit later. The on-screen title was "Pence: Trump, Like Reagan, Has "Core Of Humility"." I must have missed the part where Anderson and Bash were laughing about that comment.

I didn't watch the second hour.

Anderson was very funny with Kelly during the Host Chat. I loved that Ben texted him later in the show to remind him that he also missed hitting the target with the hammer at the fair last weekend. It sounds like AC was conveniently trying to omit mentioning that when relating the anecdote.

WHAT IS IT WITH THE MEDIA AND CLINTON? FRONT PAGE OF THE WASHINGTON POST SHOWS HER ANSWERING
A QUESTION WITH THE MOST UNATTRACTIVE LOOK ON HER FACE. DO THEY DO THAT PURPOSELY?
WE HAVE ALL SEEN HER LAUGHING BUT SHE CAN'T GO AROUND WITH A TREMENDOUS SMILE ON HER FACE LIKE
SOME LOON, ALL THE TIME. IT WOULDN'T BE NATURAL.
BUT IN WAPO SHE DOES LOOK POSITIVELY DREADFUL. PRESIDENT JACKASS ALWAYS LOOKS LOONY AND THE MEDIA JUST ACCEPTS IT. "THAT'S WHO HE IS."
WELL "LOON" IS HIS MIDDLE NAME. DONALD L.TRUMP: LOON FOR PRESIDENT.

GOOD TO SEE MEG RYAN AGAIN BUT IT WAS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE DIALOGUE.
NEVER WATCH KELLY LIVE. ANDERSON SEEMS MORE RELAXED NOW, BUT SOMETHING TELLS ME DISNEY WILL
PROBABLY PICK SOMEONE YOUNGER, PERHAPS ANOTHER FORMER ATHLETE.
LOVED MEG RYAN IN ALL NORA EPHRON MOVIES. AT EPHRON'S FUNERAL, RYAN DESCRIBED THE LATE WRITER AS "PRICKLY."
FOUND THAT REMARK RATHER INTERESTING. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE SCENES.
