Again I was a couple minutes late. When I got to Wednesday's 360 a clip of Trump had just ended and a panel had just started. Gloria Borger, Maggie Haberman and Patrick Healy discussed Monday's debate, what Trump did, how he could do better and what might happen in the next debate, which will be town hall format. Two of the more common on-screen titles during the panel were "Sources: Advisers Told Trump Debate Didn't Go Well" and "Sources: Advisers Hoping Trump Will Prep More For Next Debate". There was also "Trump Speaking Soon in Wisconsin" and the big box showed the rally start. I felt an ominous foreboding that 360 would stop in its tracks so the Trump speech could be broadcast. When Anderson said, right before the commercial break, that Trump's speech would be "monitored", that didn't entirely make me feel better.

The second segment started with a few clips of Trump dissing Hillary's health and stamina. To discuss that topic was a four-person panel. It started with Jeffrey Lord and I switched to Hayes.

Bernie Sanders and Michelle Obama are campaigning for Hillary. This was in a report which also included a review of Alicia Machado's story. Next John King looked at the voting/polling numbers among millennials. David Axelrod and Jeff Weaver discussed how Hillary could do better with millennials and the impact of third party candidates.

Alicia Machado related news wasn't done yet. First there was a clip from Anderson's interview with Machado yesterday and second a montage of Trump's various comments on various people's weights. Third Randi Kaye's report explored Trump's obsession with sniping about others' weight and appearance; her report included the obvious news that Trump is also overweight. And fourth Borger, Haberman and David Gergen talked about Trump's comments, the impact on his campaign and the possibility that Trump would "go after" Clinton's marriage.

The last segment covered the teenager in South Carolina who killed his father and then shot two at a school.

Lo and behold 360 did not broadcast Trump's speech. However, during the last 8 or 9 seconds of the show, besides saying '...stay tuned for the President Obama Town Hall..." Anderson also mentioned Trump's speech again and showed shot of Trump talking. Why? Why did Anderson or Zucker think Trump needed to be shown at all?
And why didn't Obama's Town Hall warrant 3 or 4 minute promo and/or talk with host (this time Jake Tapper) that CNN specials coming up next usually get on 360?

@Aries Moon and CAPPY - in yesterday's posts each of you had dire predictions regarding Anderson's behavior while moderating the next Clinton/Trump debate. I hope Anderson learned something after Matt Lauer was pumeled by the media for his unequal treatment of the candidates in the Commander-in-Chief Forum a few weeks ago.

@Jaanza, I had the same thoughts about the abrupt, last minute mention of Pres. Obama's town hall and that Trump pointless speech promo--it made no sense but it's typical of 360 to be dismissive of anything related to President Obama.

GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE. MICHELLE OBAMA SAID IN A SPEECH JUST YESTERDAY, "WE CAN'T AFFORD TO HAVE A CHILD FOR PRESIDENT." HAVING DEALT WITH CHILDREN FOR 35 YEARS TRUMP'S ACTIONS RESEMBLE A CHILD AND A DESPOT. HE IS CONVINCED THAT HE WON THE DEBATE AND QUOTES UNSCIENTIFIC POLLS THAT
SAY HE WON. HE LIVES IN DENIAL. THAT ACCOUNTS FOR HIS KIDS NODDING THEIR HEADS IN COMPLIANCE
EVERY TIME HE MADE A DECISION ON "THE APPRENTICE." HE'D OFTEN SAY "I KNOW I'M RIGHT. I JUST HAD TO DO IT." AND THEN IVANKA OR DONALD JR. WOULD NOD THEIR HEADS IN COMPLIANCE.
I CANNOT IMAGINE LIVING WITH THIS TYPE OF PERSON. NONE OF THEM ARE CAPABLE OF LIVING A LIFE OF
THEIR CHOOSING, IT SEEMS.
NOW CHRISTIE WAS ASKED TO PREP DUMBO. WELL UNTIL "THE ASS" ADMITS HE LOST TO A WOMAN, NO ONE
CAN HELP HIM AND AC HAD DAVID GERGEN ON WHO SAID EXACTLY THE SAME THING.
HE'S LIKE AN ALCOHOLIC. UNTIL THEY ADMIT THEY HAVE A PROBLEM, NO ONE CAN HELP THEM.
AND SPEAKING OF CHRISTIE, GUESS WHO PLAYED GAMES WITH THE HOBOKEN TRAIN LINE FOR YEARS??
NOW I'M NOT SAYING "HE PERSONALLY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HORRIFIC TRAIN ACCIDENT." HOWEVER,
HAVING LIVED IN NJ FOR FORTY YEARS, MONEY WAS SET ASIDE FOR TRANSIT COMING OUT OF HOBOKEN.
SOMEHOW IT WAS DIVERTED AND CHRISTIE SAID "NO" TO THE PROJECT. HE KNEW THAT PORTIONS OF THE
TUNNEL WERE STRUCTURALLY UNSOUND. JUST LIKE HE KNEW ABOUT THE TIE UP ON THE G W BRIDGE. DUH
