Anderson Cooper 360 on Thursday, October 13, 2016

Anderson Cooper anchored an expanded two hour edition of AC360 from the NYC studio.  Much of the first half hour was devoted to Anderson's big interview with Jessica Leeds, a Trump Accuser.  It is below in three parts:

part 2:

part 3:

Late in the second hour Anderson played a portion of First Lady Michelle Obama's speech in New Hampshire today.   In case you missed the speech and wish to listen to it, we've included it here.  CNN aired it in its entirety earlier in the day:

First Lady Michelle Obama's speech was amazing--too bad 360 chose to air it near the end of the second hour instead of the first hour where it belonged. The speech laid out everything that is wrong about Trump and why we as Americans deserve better than a racist, sexist predator leading the nation. President Obama also delivered a great speech in Ohio, decimating Trump and the GOP.

I wish Jessica Leeds could've disclosed the nasty name Trump called her when he met up with her years later--she has her reasons not to reveal what he said, but when it comes to this disgusting guy, everything should be out there.

Anderson's interview of Jessica Leeds was the first two-thirds of Thursday's 360. At the start there was a clip of Trump "Look at her, I don't think so", a Q&A with Sara Murray at a Trump rally in Ohio and a replay from the second debate, the part when Anderson asks about the "pussy" comment and if he physically ever groped women; after Trump gets out his rehearsed "I have tremendous respect for women" statements he finally said "No I have not."
For the rest of a very long first segment Anderson interviewed Leeds. She came across as a very intelligent stable and 'I'm not doing this for publicity' kind of person. She answered many questions and answered them well.

The rest of the interview was in a very long second segment.

The third segment was a panel discussion. It was only Ana Navarro's presence that made me stay but this was not a wild nor heated talk. Everyone spoke as you would expect them to, there were no surprises.

I didn't exactly watch the second hour but checked in during Maddow's commercials. Maddow had a much longer clip of Michelle Obama's fantastic speech than 360 did.
Earlier CNN shows reported on Bob Dylan winning the Nobel prize for literature. Uffda, Mr. Zimmerman! Did Anderson cover this somewhere in the second hour? If he did I must have missed it.

MICHELLE OBAMA HAS COME INTO HER OWN WHEN SHE SPEAKS. IN FACT, IN MANY WAYS SHE HAS BECOME MORE VOCAL THAN THE PRESIDENT. HER VOICE IS POWERFUL AND SHE COMES ACROSS SO EMOTIONALLY CHARGED THAT YOU GET THE FEELING THIS SUBJECT AND THIS ELECTION IS VERY PERSONAL TO HER.
EVEN IF 'THE GROPER HADN'T OFFENDED HALF OF THE VOTING POPULATION ALREADY, HE STILL IS THE ONE
WHO WILL NOT LET GO OF THE "BIRTHER" ISSUE. HE HAS PROVEN TO BE SO OUTLANDISHLY OFFENSIVE,
THAT HE HAS BECOME A STEREOTYPICAL PERSONIFICATION OF HIMSELF.
I CAN'T BARE TO LOOK AT HIM. HE IS REPULSIVE.
IRONICALLY, HILLARY'S POLL NUMBERS ARE SOARING. MANY FORMER MALE TRUMP SUPPORTERS, ARE TURNING TO HILLARY, RATHER THAN VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS PROVEN UNCONTROLLABLE AND INSANE.
ON ANOTHER FRONT, THE NY TIMES IS REPORTING THAT CHRISTIE MAY WELL BE INDICTED BECAUSE HE KNEW ABOUT THE G W CLOSING. HAPPY DAYS! HAPPY DAYS!
