Thursday's 360 was, of course, "Last Presidential Debate Review" but it was also "Waiting For Trump's and Hillary's Speeches At The Alfred Smith Dinner". The Smith Dinner is a fundraiser/dinner for Catholic Charities and traditionally Presidents and Presidential candidates show up and tell jokes. That came later.

I was four minutes late, Jason Carroll was already talking to Anderson about Trump's remark on whether or not to accept the election results and keeping everyone in "suspense" about it (which he said in last night's debate). Anderson then talked to Sara Murray about the same issue. Reporter Jessica Schneider had a report on how Trump supporters are reacting to the "suspense" comment plus talk about rigged elections and voter fraud. A panel of 5 started and I left.

John King's "By The Numbers" report on polls and electoral college predictions had Hillary leading both. Again I didn't stay for the panel.

When the panel started off the third segment I left again but when I checked back it was Gary Tuchman's report with body language expert Rick Miller assessing Hillary and Trump in last night's debate. The part that I saw had some interesting comments and I wonder if Miller said anything about Trump's sniffles earlier and I missed it.

Anderson showed a clip of Trump's remark "Such a nasty woman" from the debate. Randi Kaye's report asked six Las Vegas women for their reactions to that remark in particular and Trump's alleged respect for women in general. There was also talk about late-term abortions. When he talked to Kaleigh McEnany and Christine Quinn, Anderson kept the discussion focused on the "nasty woman"comment and respect for women. McEnany excused Trump's remark as "a moment of frustration' and Anderson didn't immediately ask her why Trump gets so frustrated in debates that he can't keep himself from saying unruly comments. Quinn didn't pick up on this angle either. She said things like "it's disrespectful...not presidential...not civil..." They also discussed the "puppet" comments and temperament issues.

After a clip from the Al Smith dinner there was a report looking back at other Presidents and President-wanna-bes at the event and the things they said. Then it was a Q&A with Gloria Borger, David Gergen and John King about the significance of the Al Smith dinner and what effect it could have.

A few minutes into the second hour CNN broadcast Trump's and Hillary's speeches from the Al Smith dinner. So did MSNBC. That meant I watched football - Cheeseheads over the Bears.

CNN AIRED THE AL SMITH CHARITY DINNER WHERE BOTH CANDIDATES WERE SPEAKERS.
PRESIDENT GROPER ADMITTED THAT HIS WIFE DID COPY MICHELLE OBAMA'S NOMINATION SPEECH, BUT HE
ALSO THROUGH PUNCHES AT HOW MANY TIMES HILLARY ALLEGEDLY LIED TO THE FBI ABOUT HER EMAILS.
SHE WAS NOT AMUSED. (MEMORY DOESN'T SERVE HER CORRECTLY)
HILLARY GRACIOUSLY ACCEPTED THE "PUNCHES" "DONALD" THROUGH AT HER BUT SHE ALSO QUIPPED
THAT HE WOULD RATE THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, ( A WOMAN) EITHER A 4 OR A 5 DEPENDING ON WHETHER SHE
WAS HOLDING THE TORCH.
THE GROPER CALLED HILLARY 'CORRUPT' WHICH WAS TOTALLY UNFUNNY AND THE AUDIENCE RESPONDED IN KIND BY "BOOING HIM."
CNN CORRESPONDENTS ALL AGREED TRUMP WAS OUT OF LINE FOR A GOOD WILL CHARITY DINNER.
HE WAS ALSO TOTALLY OUT OF HIS ELEMENT LACKING A GENTEEL BACKGROUND. NO SURPRISE THERE.

I HATE IT WHEN I MAKE A GRAMMATICAL ERROR, EVEN AFTER I'VE REREAD WHAT I WROTE.
IT SHOULD BE "THREW PUNCHES." PLEASE EXCUSE THIS ERROR.
KNOWING HOW I LOATHE PRESIDENT GROPER, I DO FEEL THE "NASTY WOMAN,"COMMENT WAS OUT OF LINE, BUT NOT MEANT WITH ANY SEXUAL INTENT OR ADDITIONAL HOSTIITY. THAT IS TRUMP HUMOR.
HE HAS SAID THAT ON "THE APPRENTICE" A COUPLE OF TIMES AND NO ONE THOUGHT ANYTHING ABOUT IT. SARCASM WITH A SMIRK AT SOMEONE ELSE'S EXPENSE. THAT'S AS DIGNIFIED AS HE GETS. HOPEFULLY
MELANIA WAS TOLD AHEAD OF TIME.
