SEEING THE VP DEBATE REMINDED US ALL OF WHAT TWO ADULTS LOOK LIKE DEBATING.
AS GLORIA BORGER POINTED OUT, "THIS DEBATE DID NOT MOVE THE DIAL EITHER WAY.
I AGREE, HOWEVER, IF ONLY PENCE WERE AT THE TOP OF THE TICKET, IT WOULD PUT MOST OF US, AT EASE.
AT LEAST PENCE WAS SANE, REASONABLE, AND STOIC. HE SPOKE WITH AUTHORITY AND RESEMBLED A HUMAN BEING.
KAINE SEEMED A BIT FRAZZLED AT TIMES AND ON THE DEFENSIVE. HE DID MANAGE TO DRIVE HOME TRUMP'S
NEGLIGENCE IN REPORTING HIS REAL INCOME AND HIS TAXABLE INCOME WAS AT THE FOREFRONT.
YES, REASONABLE PEOPLE MAY WONDER AFTER SEEING PENCE, CALM AND COLLECTED, WHY THEIR CANDIDATE COULDN'T RESEMBLE THIS PERSON....EVEN IF WE DON'T LIKE HIM. HE NEVER ONCE YELLED,
"WRONG," LIKE ALEC BALDWIN'S PARODY OF TRUMP THE CANDIDATE.
SNL DID A VERY BITING SATIRE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE WITH TWO TALENTED PERFORMANCES....A MUST SEE VIDEO. I'M NOT A FAN OF ALEC BALDWIN, BUT HIS PARODY OF TRUMP WAS TOP NOTCH, AND JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF BLONDE, BOMBASTIC, AND ORANGE.
