This was another 360 when I wished I could have been one of its executive-level producers and change the show content before it aired.

Although I was a minute late, the start was okay. "Dueling Rallies Tonight In Battleground States" was the on-screen title and Anderson spoke to two reporters, one at Hillary's rally and one at Trump's. John King's "By The Numbers" had Hillary down to 268, Trump at 204. King covered the swings of the battleground states and his conclusion was a win for Hillary. Anderson started a panel with 5 pundits, an improvement over 8 but I still changed the channel.

That channel change made me miss the start of Gary Tuchman's report on Obama campaigning for Hillary in NC. The focus here was Hispanic voters and Anderson talked to Maria Cordona and Trump parrot Steve Cortes. There were no surprises in the discussion. Anderson ended the segment with about 30 seconds LIVE coverage of a Trump rant in PA. I couldn't figure out Trump's babble. What does "...cameras on Obama..." have to do with anything?

Unfortunately, tragically, disappointingly broadcast of Trump's PA speech continued for 3 or 4 minutes into the next segment. This is what 360 could have covered instead:
- two Gov. Christie associates found guilty in Bridgegate case
- voter suppression
- GOP illegal "ballot security" forces
- Rolling Stone magazine found guilty of defaming Univ. of VA due to 2014 gang rape story.
Finally free Trump advertising ended. Anderson reported on the kerfuffle over former NYC Mayor and current Trump puppet Giuliani and how he could have known about FBI Director Comey's letter to Congress about a new Hillary email investigation several days before Comey sent that letter. There was an interview clip of Giuliani promising a new revelation about Hillary coming up in days, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) comments and an interview with Tom Fuentes. I was too pissed off about Trump's free time to pay much attention and when a new panel of 7 started, I left.

And so I missed the start of the last segment of the first hour. It was a Tom Foreman report covering various speakers for Hillary - Kaine, Sanders, Biden, Obama, Michelle Obama - but I missed what the angle was. Again the panel of 7 and away I went.

A couple minutes into 360's second hour I checked to see what was happening. It was "Dueling Rallies Tonight In Battleground States" again. I went back to Maddow of course.

It bothers me when 360 sucks because I know Anderson can do way better. Is it because of Zucker? The 2016 election? A case of massive apathy on Anderson's part about the quality of his show?

He just signed a new contract. I hope that it was a short one.

There was actually a report and discussion about the GOP's voter suppression tactics in this and past elections--voting rights, voter suppression are subjects that 360 has pretty much ignored for a long time so it was refreshing to finally see them taking it on. Republicans can deny all they want that they're trying to prevent certain segments of the population from voting but the fact that the courts have been striking down Voter ID laws in many states only proves what the GOP's real intent is--making it more difficult for people of color, the elderly and young people to vote--Republicans can't win on policy so they have to cheat.

I agree with Jaanza about some of the stories 360 could've covered instead of the Trump rant.

@Aries Moon - The report on voter suppression must have been in the second hour. Because of Maddow I don't see 360's second hour and am pissed to hear about good relevant news being in the second hour instead of the first.
Historically 360's second hour gets lower, sometimes far lower, ratings than the first. I'm not alone in watching only the first hour.

The Standing Rock protest against the oil pipeline is another story first-hour-360 is ignoring in favor of more unnecessary Trump coverage or worse, free broadcast of his speeches.

And GOPers' promise to block all SCOTUS nominees by President Hillary Clinton.

And the earthquakes in Italy.

And a gazillion other news stories.

BILL MAHER, THIS PAST FRIDAY, WAS VERY LEARY ABOUT ELECTION PROSPECTS FOR HILLARY. HE REALLY BELIEVES THE REPUBLICANS ARE GOING TO SABOTAGE THE ELECTION THROUGH VOTER FRAUD, AND TRY TO PREVENT
VOTING TO TAKE PLACE IN CERTAIN RURAL AREAS FOR SPECIFIC GROUPS.
HIS PANEL WAS SLIGHTLY MORE OPTIMISTIC.
HE WENT RIGHT UP TO THE CAMERA AND SAID IF TRUMP WINS IT'S BECAUSE "YOU F----JOURNOS DIDN'T DO YOUR
JOB!! OUR DEMOCRACY IS ON THE LINE HERE."
HE MAY HAVE OVER REACTED BUT HE REALLY PRESENTED A VERY SOMBER OUTCOME OF WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF HILLARY DOESN'T MAKE IT. THE CLIP IS ON HUFFPOST AND IS WORTH SEEING.
BILL ALSO INTERVIEWED OBAMA WHO PRETTY MUCH HAD AN AGENDA, WHICH WAS "VOTE FOR HILLARY." THERE WAS
ALSO CAMERA BLOCKING FOR SOME REASON, MAYBE SECURITY. HARD TO EXPLAIN.

@CAPPY - I totally understand Bill Maher's point of view. As a whole the mass media has been way tougher on Hillary than on Trump. Anderson included except for a few times in the past several weeks he's challenged the ridiculous claims of the Trump parrots. I can't state any specific examples right now because I haven't watched the panels in the last few days.

Monday is "Gotham", can't watch 360. On Tuesday I'm considering catching up on "Project Runway" and ignoring all election coverage until midnight and then checking who won and if democracy is still safe in the U.S. for another four years. That and the results of a few state races is all I need. I don't need speculation, analysis of details or specifics on voting in Lucas County Ohio.

Lucas County is where Toledo Ohio is. I don't know why I know that.

ANDERSON MUST HAVE SEEN BILL MAHER'S CLIP, WHICH ESSENTIALLY BLAMED THE PRESS FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOB VETTING TRUMP.
AC WENT AFTER KELLYANNE CONWAY WITH A VENGEANCE THIS PAST SUNDAY. HE ASKED HER IF "HER CANDIDATE"
WOULD CONTINUE RANTING ABOUT HOW CORRUPT HILLARY IS, WHEN THE FBI FINALLY DECIDED SHE WAS IN THE CLEAR...AGAIN. SHE REPLIED THAT SHE DIDN'T KNOW. AC USED A RATHER HARSH TONE WITH HER, BUT IT WAS TOO LITTLE TOO LATE. HE AND HIS COLLEAGUES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ATTACKING CONWAY FOR ALLOWING THE CHANT
"LOCK HER UP."IT JUST SHOWS ADDITIONAL "LOWS" AND UNSAVORY TACTICS. THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOR IN ANY
CAMPAIGN SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED. HOW DISRESPECTFUL! TRUMP IS A DISGRACE AND SO ARE HIS SUPPORTERS!
