WITH ALL THE HACKING THEORIES GOING ON CNN HAS THE NERVE TO RUN A SPECIAL ABOUT JONBENET FROM YEARS
PAST! WHO CARES. I DON'T. NEITHER DO 2.6 MILLION AMERICANS WHO VOTED FOR HILLARY CLINTON AND NOW WE FIND OUT THAT RUSSIA PROBABLY HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE NEGATIVE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION.
SO WHAT DOES CNN DO? NOT INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM TO SEE WHAT ACTUALLY TRANSPIRED, BUT RUNS A SPECIAL ABOUT THE OBSESSION WITH JONBENET, A CHILD PROM QUEEN.
I DON'T GIVE A HOOT WHAT BECAME OF HER. I DIDN'T THEN, AND I DON'T NOW. WE ARE STUCK WITH A 'FRAUDULENT PRESIDENT' IT SEEMS, WHO WILL TAKE THE OATH OF OFFICE NEXT MONTH, WHEN IN FACT MOST AMERICANS WHO VOTED, DIDN'T VOTE FOR HIM.
THIS IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM, A SYSTEM THAT LOOKS AWAY, EVEN WHEN THERE ARE THEORIES DAILY THAT RUSSIA HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH GETTING DONALD J. TRUMP ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED
STATES AND MAKING A MOCKERY OF OUR DEMOCRACY! THAT'S RIGHT CNN, SHOW A DREARY SPECIAL ABOUT A CHILD DRESSED UP AS AN ADULT WITH A CROWN ON HER HEAD. WHO GIVES A CRAP!

Tuesday's lead story was Trump's transition team and new Cabinet choices. Anderson talked to Phil Mattingly about ExxonMobil CEO Tillerson as a future Sect. of State and how that decision came about, former TX Gov. Perry as Sect. of Energy and Rep. Zinke for Sect. of the Interior. Tom Foreman had a report on Tillerson's past, his possible conflicts of interest and his ties to Putin & Russia. I didn't stay for the panel of five, just didn't want to deal with it.

Anderson had a Q&A with Ivan Perez about Tillerson's confirmation hearings and the comments about Tillerson from a few members of Congress. The same panel convened again. I left again.

The third segment started with a clip from an early GOP debate in which Perry was stating which three government agencies he would abolish as President, he named Education and with help from another candidate came up with Commerce and totally forgot about Energy. And now he's Trump's choice for Sect. of Energy. Anderson asked the same panel about the irony of it all. I didn't watch.

Today Trump met with Kanye West and Jim Brown. Anderson interviewed Brown, a former football player now an activist. I left again to protest the continuing Trump coverage instead of reporting on Aleppo or the Ohio abortion bill.

The last segment of this one-hour 360 finally got to Russian hacking and election influencing. Anderson talked to Pamela Brown about Sen. Robert Corker (R-TN) and his call for a Congressional investigation. Half of this segment was a Gary Tuchman report on how much Trump supporters still love Trump no matter what.

The last minute was a promo for the CNN special on JonBenet Ramsey coming up next.

I'm hoping to hear from ATAers on how today's show compared to Monday's, which I didn't see but hear was really good. Today had too much Trump and too much time on panels which for me simply means more time with Hayes.

@CAPPY - The only reason I can think of to have a special on the death of JonBenet Ramsey is because soon it will be 20th anniversary of her death. But to have that special on CNN instead of HLN or TJN or someplace else in the cable TV universe?

Bravo Cappy. Trump's corruption/conflict of interests and the possibility that Russia got him elected should be on blast 24/7 on CNN considering that his business dealings may put the country at risk. The JonBenet special is a complete waste of airtime.

One thing I'm really sick of on 360 is Anderson blurting out that "Trump won" and that "the American people" chose him to run the country, whenever a panelist is critical of Trump or his cabinet picks. Not ALL of the American people, AC, MANY of us are disgusted and sickened at the thought of him entering the Oval Office and even moreso now since there are questions about the legitimacy of the election.

Interesting how Democrats/HRC/Obama supporters are expected to suddenly forget all of the hateful, racist, sexist words from Trump and "give him a chance". NO. If AC thought having Jim Brown on would convince the Trump-resistant that he deserves our respect as POTUS, he's quite mistaken. He's yet to earn it. Some folks want Trump critics to just move on and forget who Trump showed himself to be during the campaign. President Obama was was working hard to unify the country and bring people together after his election only to be met with all kinds of disrespect and rejection by the Tea Party and the rest of the GOP. Where were the calls then by reporters and others to "give him a chance"? Never happened. But we're now supposed to forgive a monster like Trump. NOT happening here.

Was GOP commentator Margaret Hoover serious when she called Trump's all white male cabinet "diverse"? Wow.

BRAVO TO ROBERT REICH FOR TALKING SENSE TO AC ABOUT TRUMP NOT WANTING TO BE "BRIEFED EVERY DAY."
LORD, CNN'S TRUMP SUPPORTER, HISTORIAN TO SOME, SIMPLETON TO OTHERS, SAID IT WAS "HIS STYLE."
STYLE? TRUMP HAS STYLE? HE WEARS A RED TIE EVERY DAY THAT, ACCORDING TO HUFFPOST, IS SCOTCH TAPED TO THE
LAPEL OF HIS JACKET BECAUSE HE CAN'T SEEM TO TIE THE KNOT CORRECTLY....AND THIS IS GOING TO RUN OUR COUNTRY? YES SIR, WOW, WHAT A BRAIN AND A HALF.
WHY CAN'T TRUMP BE BRIEFED EVERY DAY? IN FACT, IF HIS MIND IS THAT SMALL, HE PROBABLY NEEDS TO BE
BRIEFED EVERY MINUTE BECAUSE OF HIS LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL. WAS HE EVER TESTED FOR A D D??
TRY A LITTLE RIDILIN, AND THEN HIS SON IN LAW, CAN QUIZ HIM TO SEE HOW MUCH HE COMPREHENDED.
AND JEFFERY LORD HAS TO STOP SAYING REAGAN AND TRUMP IN THE SAME SENTENCE. IT'S AS THOUGH IF HE SAYS IT ENOUGH, SOME OF REAGAN'S SMARTS WILL RUB OFF ON THIS BIGOT. NO, NOT A CHANCE JEFFERY AND YOU AND BLOND AMBITION CAN BLAME ONE ANOTHER FOR THE NEXT WORLD WAR BECAUSE BOTH OF YOU PUT THIS
INEPT PERSON IN THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND. WE HAVE YOU AND EVERY TRUMP SUPPORTER AND GOP MEMBER TO BLAME, AND BLAME WE WILL.

Is AC particularly chummy with Lord? I haven't noticed that in particular, he seems friendly with all his panel members, but he has also openly mocked Lord many times. But your comment reminded me of the recent NYTimes piece on Van Jones where he said he loved Jeffrey because how could you not? Talking of AC's special chums, I always wondered what he felt about Donna's departure because they definitely had a special bond. And I saw AC's old make up artist post this on instagram yesterday

A treasure from my days as a #makeupartist at #CNN. I worked with #andersoncooper every day there for years, and always enjoyed it. #television
He and I had a lovely relationship. He called me after I left, quite upset. He's the ONLY thing I miss at CNN!!

and this made me wonder more! (also a great testimonial for AC)

Btw, AC also spoke at the connectDC event today and people seemed to love his speech. He said that his advice to a kid who wanted to become a politician was to become a real person before trying to become a fake person. Which seems to say a lot about AC's attitude towards politics.
