Too much Trump and in all likelihood it's going to stay that way for the next four years. The very first news out of Anderson's mouth was Trump's announcement of a news conference on January 11. Next was the latest on Russian hacking and intelligence briefings in a Q&A with Sara Murray. Then it was Jim Acosta on Trump's point-of-view, his doubting the intel reports, his "I know things others don't" comment and other Trump yada. So when Anderson started interviewing former CIA guy and current Trump advisor James Woolsey for more on the Trump perspective I had to change the channel.

The story of the House GOP gutting the independent Office of Congressional Ethics and burying it within the House Ethics Committee and then today totally reversing that idea still had Trump in it because allegedly it was a Trump tweet this morning which made the GOP change its mind. After getting details from Manu Raju, Anderson talked to John King and Gloria Borger about the "behind closed doors" decision, GOP's beef with the independent ethics panel and Trump's role. At least it wasn't a handful of the usual pundits plus a Trump parrot or two.

The third segment started with repeated news on Trump's promised Jan. 11 news conference and a Q&A with Sara Murray. Unfortunately I missed a chunk of the segment because of real life going on and missed the start of King's and David Farenthold's panel. When my attention got back to 360 the chyron was "Sources: Unlikely Trump Will Divest Completely From Company" and the talk was on Ivanka's role in her dad's business and his White House.
Anderson also paid more attention to Trump's tweeting that the intel briefing on "so-called" Russian hacking was delayed until Friday "perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange." There was a short chat with Sara Murray (later Maddow stated the intel briefing was always scheduled for Friday and intelligence officials are getting pissed off at Trump's attitude).

Next up: "Democrats Vow To Target 8 Trump Nominees". After a short Anderson intro there was a Drew Griffin report on Treasury nominee Steve Mnuchin. He made big money with shady foreclosures and reverse mortgages and the whole report was pretty good.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is the new Senate Minority Leader. Anderson had a clip of him dissing Trump's Twitter obsession followed by an interview Dana Bash did with Schemer. They covered what was expected in a Trump Presidency, holding him accountable and fixing the Democratic party.

Anderson previewed the start of the second hour - a look at the GOP agenda on Capitol Hill - but I didn't watch.
So I was really glad to see ATA include The Ridiculist in today's post. I'd rate it a B. And now I'm hungry for Wendy's.

@CAPPY - two points about your post yesterday -

1. Kellyanne Conway "NOW GETTING BIG BUCKS" - I saw an article on Daily Kos, " "Billionaire" Trump Can't Pay His Transition Team's Salaries" by RobRoy2. The article states Conway will be doing "an exclusive fundraiser" Thursday in Buffalo "intended to raise funds to cover the costs of Trump's trensition team, including their salaries." I'd love it if Anderson asks Conway, next time she's on, when she last got paid.

2. "DRUMPF MIGHT NOT BE THERE FOR THE LONG HAUL..." Ditto. He's going to pull a Palin. He's going to find out the job isn't as lucrative as he thought it would be. Trump wanted to be President so his business could more easily make money. When that can't or won't happen Trump will be out the door.

HI JAANZA: WHEN I SAID THE THING ABOUT KELLYANNE I MEANT NOTORIOUSLY. NO ONE KNEW WHO SHE WAS UNTIL
NOW. EVEN THE CANDIDATES ON CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, WHO WERE MOSTLY 'HAS BEENS,' SAW RENEWED FAME AFTER
THEIR APPEARANCE ON THE SHOW. I DON'T THINK FOR A MINUTE SHE'LL MAKE MONEY WITH PRESIDENT TWEET.
IN #2, THERE WAS A QUOTE BY RALPH NADER, NOT LONG AGO, WHO SAID THAT DRUMPF WOULD PROBABLY BE IMPEACHED BECAUSE OF BUSINESS CONFLICTS OF INTERESTS. HOPEFULLY HE MAY EVEN DO SOMETHING UNSEEMLY,
AND "STEP IN IT." WE KNOW HE NEVER TAKES ADVICE, EVEN FROM LAWYERS.
PERSONALLY, HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HE DOESN'T KNOW. PALIN KNEW INSTINCTIVELY, THAT SHE WAS IN OVER HER HEAD. (I GIVE HER CREDIT FOR THAT) HE WOULDN'T CONCEDE....NOT UNTIL THE GOP SAYS "ENOUGH."
JUST LOOK AT HOW HE'S HANDLING INTELLIGENCE. WHOEVER HEARD OF A PRESIDENT NOT TAKING THEIR OWN INTELLIGENCE BRIEFINGS AND THEN, NOT BELIEVING THEM? WHAT AN "ASS!"
FAREED ZAKARIA SAID DRUMPF MUST RELEASE HIS TAX RETURNS AND THERE WILL COME A DAY WHEN HE IS MADE TO,
OR RESIGN....OH THE WORD SOUNDS WONDERFUL TO MY EARS. SOMETHING JUST DOESN'T "FEEL RIGHT" FORGIVE THE PUN, AND WE ALL KNOW IT.
GOING FORWARD CONGRESS HAS TO PASS A LAW REQUIRING ALL CANDIDATES FOR THE PRESIDENCY TO RELEASE THEIR TAX RETURNS. THIS MUST BE BY PARTISAN IN SCOPE. ALL JOBS HAVE REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT THIS ONE!!
