Anderson Cooper anchored an expanded two hour edition of AC360 from the NYC studio. Since someone commented on Charles Blow being MIA on 360, tonight he was on the giant panel.
Charles Blow on panel during 8pmET hour:
Jim Scuitto's report on the Yemen raid (Trump's first military action) that didn't go so well despite reports to the contrary from the Trump administration. Missing from the report was that a female 8 year old U.S. citizen was killed in the raid.:
During the 9pmET hour there was more on the fallout from Trump's phone calls with world leaders and a pretty good panel discussion that included Carl Bernstein and David Gergen:
Anderson also interview Maajid Nawaz about Trump's travel ban fueling Muslim extremism. Maajid touched on the White Supremacist who killed people at a Mosque in Quebec. The suspect admitted to admiring Trump so is that the reason this tragedy wasn't covered? We all know that Anderson Cooper/AC360 typically has a lot of coverage of terrorist acts and Canada is calling this a terrorist act. Also no mention about a Reuter's report that Trump wants to focus the counter-extremism program solely on Islam when White Supremacy extremism is on the rise in the U.S.
The last segment of the second hour was a report on Steve Bannon, Trump's advisor who has rather questionable views and Trump's ear:
Something you haven't heard covered on AC360 was Rudi Guliani's admission on Fox News that Trump's travel ban, really is a Muslim Ban and how Rudi helped craft it. We found video of Rudi's segment and the ban discussion starts about 1/2 way in.
