Friday's 360's opening chyron was "Sources: New Terrorist Laptop Bombs May Evade Security" and Anderson talked to Ivan Perez and Barbara Starr for the details and the recent U.S. ban on electronics going to/from certain airports. Then Anderson introduced a panel of 4 pundits we haven't seen in a long while: Juliette Kayyem, Paul Cruickshank, Philip Mudd and Richard Quest. They analyzed the current circumstances and how things would change if stricter security measured are implemented. Each person on this panel got only one question and the first segment was shorter than usual.

Next up was "Schiff Reviews Controversial Intelligence At White House" and Anderson talked to a reporter who's name I didn't catch for details on Rep. Schiff, how the WH handled the intel, Nunes and Nunes not commenting. Anderson also had a Q&A with Jim Acosta about Flynn testifying, Trump's comment on that, the FBI not yet granting immunity, Spicer deflecting by saying '...a more important issue is Americans being surveilled...', the timing of the alleged wiretapping, Spicer again but this time spinning '...Trump mean overall surveillance...', plus not exactly meant Obama did it, Trump's tweets and the WH management of cleaning up after him.

The third segment was a panel of 5 including Kaleigh McEnany so switched to Hayes.

I missed the start of Anderson's interview with Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), member of the House intelligence Committee about the intel from the WH, Schiff, Nunes, the investigation, the possibility of immunity for Flynn and whether to make the info public.

Ivanka and Jared Kushner profiting in their businesses because of their proximity to Trump was the topic of the last segment of the first hour. The basis for this was a new New York Times article investigating I&J's business interests and conflicts of interest. Anderson talked to Jesse Drucker of the NYT, Richard Painter (ethics lawyer) and Timothy O'Brien (Trump author). Even though it was a bit overdue, it was nonetheless a terrific discussion.
Anderson previewed the start of the second hour: terrorist laptops.

Throughout most of the first hour there was a countdown clock for the CNN special coming up at 10 pm on the guy who used to be with ISIS. Hasn't this special been on before? If not, why premiere it late on a Friday night?

TRUMP'S ORIGINAL COMMENT WENT AFTER OBAMA, NOT "SURVEILLANCE IN GENERAL OR AMERICANS SURVEILLANCE IN GENERAL." IT IS ABOUT TIME THE DEMOCRATS GOT OFF THEIR REARS AND MADE TRUMP ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS EVERY WORD. THIS "SPINNING" HAS GOTTEN OUT OF HAND. TRUMP SHOULD BE MADE TO APOLOGIZE TO THE FORMER PRESIDENT, PUT ON HIS BIG BOY PANTS, AND SAY THE WORDS, "I AM SORRY. I MISLED THE COUNTRY."
WE ARE SORRY HE IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE, AND WE ARE SORRIER THAT THE DEMOCRATS LET REPUBLICANS GET AWAY WITH MAKING ALTERNATIVE FACTS "STICK."
WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO PUT ON THEIR "BIG BOY PANTS ON," BIND TOGETHER AND FILIBUSTER EVERYTHING
THAT IS PUT FORTH BY REPUBLICANS.....EVERYTHING, INCLUDING THE THE LATEST SUPREME COURT NOMINEE.

THE L A TIMES IS CALLING THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY IN ITS EDITORIAL SECTION: "A TRAIN WRECK, AN UNIMAGINABLE TRAIN WRECK."
THEY CALLED "THIS WIZARD OF DISASTER," PETULANT, UNPREDICTABLE, CHILDISH, CARELESS, IGNORANT,
AND IRRESPONSIBLE. OF COURSE THIS IS CALIFORNIA, THE BLUEST OF THE BLUE STATES, BUT I BELIEVE EVERY WORD OF IT.
THEY WENT ON TO SAY THAT HE WILL USE EVERY DEVICE IMAGINABLE TO DIVERT ATTENTION AND UNFORTUNATELY OUR MEDIA IS FALLING FOR IT....AND THAT INCLUDES, CNN AND ANDERSON. THE TIMES REFERRED TO THIS PRESIDENT AS THE "LIAR IN CHIEF," VERY PROPERLY, WHO PREFERS TO LIVE IN A BUBBLE OF HIS OWN CREATION, APPOINTING PEOPLE AROUND HIM TO DO HIS "DIRTY WORK," OR TO DISENGAGE HIMSELF FROM REALITY. THIS IS THE MOST FRIGHTENING ASPECT OF HIS PRESIDENCY. TRUMPS SPENDS MORE TIME CONCOCTING UNTRUTHS, THAN DEALING WITH MATTERS OF SUBSTANCE AND IS NOT ABOVE LYING TO GAIN LEVERAGE POLITICALLY AND FINANCIALLY.
THIS SHOULD COME AS NO SURPRISE TO THOSE WHO DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM, BUT FOR THOSE WHO PUT THEIR FAITH AND TRUST IN HIS WORTHINESS, IT COULD COST HIM HEAVILY IN THE LONG RUN.
WE CAN ONLY HOPE.
