I've been out of commission for a while but was glad to see a terrific first segment on Monday's 360. Anderson started with an overview on "Anatomy Of An Unproven Claim" all about Trump delusioning / deflecting from Russia questions that Obama wiretapped his phones during the campaign. Anderson had the timeline, the tweets, the lack of proof and comments from Trump parrots Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. The Q&A with Jeff Zeleny also included info on Trump's new travel ban and FBI Director Comey. The rest of the segment was a terrific and very smart interview of Gen. Michael Hayden, former CIA Director and former National Security Agency, for reality and analysis.

Manu Raju had answers and a report on the reaction of the rest of the GOP, emphasis on McCain and Graham, to Trump's wiretapping claim. When the panel of 7 started (including Carl Bernstein via satellite) I watched Hayes.

When the third segment started Anderson again overviewed Trump's wiretapping claim/sideshow and again started up the panel. I didn't watch.

The next segment didn't have the panel and was pretty good. It was all about Trump's new second-try travel ban. Anderson had a great talk with WA Attorney General Bob Ferguson and Jeffrey Toobin about what's different with this one, what's the same and how it will all play out.

At :57 into the first hour Anderson had a little more than two minutes on the House GOP bill to repeal and replace the ACA. There was time for a few questions for Phil Mattingly before Anderson previewed the start of the second hour: Trump bleating Obama wiretapped him. As usual I watched Maddow.

Thanks, ATA, for the heads up about Anderson on Colber's Late Show. I'm predicting a fun interview with a few jabs at Trump; come on, Anderson, tell us what you really think!

WHY DO WE INSIST UPON ANALYZING WHAT PRESIDENT "NUT JOB," DOES? HE IS HIS OWN WORST ENEMY AND
MORNING JOE CALLED HIM RECKLESS AND CRAZY. HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYTHING HE DOES AND SAYS WILL BE UNDER SCRUTINY, AND HE HAS NO BASIS WHATSOEVER, OF UNDERMINING PRESIDENT OBAMA.
IN FACT, HE'S PROBABLY JEALOUS THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA HAD A SUCCESSFUL PRESIDENCY MINUS "THE DRAMA," AND PROVED TO BE QUITE CAPABLE OF HANDLING A VERY HARD JOB.
PRESIDENT NUT JOB NEEDS TO RESIGN AND HIS SURROGATES NEED TO TELL HIM THAT. HE'S INCAPABLE OF
OF HANDLING ANYTHING AND IS A DANGER AND DISTRACTION TO OUR WAY OF LIFE.
WHY ANALYZE HIS MOTIVES? HE'S TOO IGNORANT TO HAVE MOTIVES.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO SPEAK UP IN THE GOP AND GET DRUMPF OUT, BEFORE SOME FOREIGN POWER TAKES ADVANTAGE OF US. THIS MAN IS INCAPABLE OF HANDLING THE PRESIDENCY AND WE SHOULDN'T ALLOW OURSELVES TO BECOME ENTANGLED WITH HIS ERRATIC BEHAVIOR.

Anderson seemed very relaxed on the Colbert show--maybe he always is on these shows, but he seemed to me very confident and cool. I'm probably imagining it but Colbert seemed a little off his game and he looks like he gained some weight since the old Colbert Report days--his show is doing really well in the ratings now so he must be happy, but he wasn't as smooth as I'm used to seeing him--I guess it's because the old Colbert show was so scripted and he's not just playing some character any longer.

Certainly can't blame AC for muting Trump's madness and misinformation--as long as he keeps hitting the orange clown hard on 360.

Bravo Cappy as usual.

I think it also has to do with being on a network vs comedy central, I think colbert has talked about how a lot of his material gets toned down by network execs.
