Trump can never admit any wrongdoing, he doesn't know what self-reflection is, lies non-stop and is as corrupt as anyone who's ever lived, but the press seems to think the real outrage is that Hillary Clinton isn't on her knees begging forgiveness for not sufficiently taking responsibility for the outcome of the election. Hillary Clinton was not wrong about the outside factors that took down her campaign, but the press just wants to see her groveling and admitting to them how lousy a candidate she was. She took responsibility but of course that's never enough for her bitter critics in the press. It was good to see Hillary Clinton again and I'm glad she's not slinking away from the spotlight the way some of her most vocal detractors might want--looking at YOU Bill Maher/Chris Cilliza, Josh Barro, and ahem, Anderson, etc.

The Daily Beast's Matt Lewis made a fool of himself trying to defend the GOP's cruel stance on health care. Republicans are heartless.

@aries moon I agree with everything you said. I haven't liked Matt Lewis for a long time, but his comments last night were horrible. Unfortunately he voices what seems to be the views held by Republicans in Congress. How they can vote for this bill while exempting themselves from it is beyond me. Also, Lewis commented on what Jimmy Kimmel said without even listening to what Kimmel said. Kimmel said that he had the money to pay, but that he was speaking on behalf of those who didn't and needed the insurance through the ACA so they didn't have to make decisions on the healthcare for their sick child based on finances.

Health care is an issue very near and dear to my heart and what the Republicans are doing sickens me on so many levels. AC360 and other news programs aren't doing a good job of educating the public on what this bill and/or the ACA does. You don't have to buy insurance on the exchange to be affected by the ACA. The essential benefits and the no lifetime maximums are benefits provided to everyone, even those with employer based care. People that think they are safe with their employer based care are going to be in for a big surprise if their company decides to scale back the coverage they offer since the essential benefits and no lifetime caps are no longer required/protected. Something I've heard no one mention is the Medicare supplemental plans. I have a feeling those will be effected too since they are health insurance policies. The fact the Republican's are ramming this through without being truthful about what's in the bill is appalling.

I TOO AGREE WITH YOU ARIES MOON.....AS USUAL YOU SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER, AS THEY SAY...NOT LIKE
ANDERSON ANYMORE.
HOWEVER, AND THERE IS AN HOWEVER. I COULD NOT STOMACH THE FACT THAT HILLARY'S FRIEND AND AIDE,
WHOSE NAME ESCAPES ME, WAS SO SLOPPY IN HER CORRESPONDENCE THAT SHE ACTUALLY PUT UNCLASSIFIED
INFO ON HER THEN HUSBAND'S LAPTOP, WHO HAPPENED TO BE ANTHONY, YOU LOW LIFE, WEINER.
WHY? I HEARD THIS ON THE LEAD JUST TODAY. SHE COULDN'T TRUST HIM SO WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD SHE
SEND CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS TO HIS COMPUTER?
YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE LIAR IN CHIEF, BUT I'M BEGINNING TO LOOK AT HILLARY IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT. AND BILL WAS NO DIFFERENT MEETING LORETTA LYNCH ON THE TARMAC JUST BEFORE THE ELECTION. HE REALLY WAS THE SPOILER IN THIS ELECTION. OF COURSE THERE WERE OTHER FACTORS, BUT SOME OF THE PIECES OF THIS PUZZLE ARE BEGINNING TO FIT.

@Jenn, your point about the lack of an in-depth examination of what the GOP's bill will actually do or not do is a crucial one. I'm sick of the news programs focusing so much on how Trump/GOP finally got the votes they were looking for--I don't care about Trump's 'deal making' skills--what really matters is the impact this bill will have on millions of vulnerable Americans who desperately need GOOD healthcare. Clearly the GOP couldn't care less about their constituents who are against this rotten bill--Democrats are not going to forget who rammed this thing through--their names will be on it and they will pay in 2018 for the damage.

@Cappy, yes there were mistakes made by Hillary Clinton and her team (including Huma Abedin, Anthony Weiner's wife) but in spite of their issues, the country would've been far better off with Clinton in office--we are in serious peril now because of the orange clown and his corrupt buddies in the GOP.

IN THE END, IT IS JUST LIKE BILL MAHER HAS SAID MANY TIMES ON HIS PROGRAM: "WHY DO PEOPLE CONSISTENTLY VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE THEIR WELFARE AT HEART? THEY VOTE AGAINST THEIR OWN SELF INTERESTS." THIS IS SO TRUE. MOST OF THE ELECTORATE DOESN'T CARE, DOESN'T READ, AND KNOWS MORE ABOUT POPULAR CULTURE THAN THEY DO ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING POLITICALLY. IT ONLY INTERESTS THEM WHEN IT "HURTS" AND THAT IS A PUN.
TRUMP WON BECAUSE OF NAME RECOGNITION.....HE WAS ON TV AND THAT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR AMERICANS
WHO ARE ILLITERATE ABOUT GOVERNMENT AND POLICY.....JUST LIKE THE PRESIDENT.
SO IF OBAMACARE IS REPEALED WHO IS TO BLAME......?
