Politics, politics and more politics on Tuesday's 360.

Anderson started with "Trump: Sessions Recusal Is Bad "For The Presidency"" and the clip of Trump saying that if he knew Sessions would recuse himself from the Russia investigation, Trump never would have made him Attorney General. Anderson provided an overview of Trump/Sessions history, tweets, the issue of "going after" Hillary Clinton and the loyalty issue. The Q&A with Jeff Zeleny had all of that plus whether Sessions will resign or will Trump fire him and then the ordeal of replacing him. There was a talk with Sara Murray for a few more details and then analysis with a panel of 5 - Maggie Haberman, David Challian, Kirsten Powers, Jeffrey Toobin and Jim Sciutto.

The Washington Post states Sessions won't resign and several clips of Trump ranting about loyalty started the second segment. Scott jennings and Kenneth Cuccinelli joined the panel for another discussion.

"Senate Barely Advances Health Care Bill, Dems Launch Delay Tactics" meant the GOP healthcare bill didn't really pass, this was a bill to let it live so it could be debated (I think?). There was a clip of John McCain lamenting obstructionism and bipartisanship, "We're getting nothing done." Anderson talked to Phil Mattingly for the details, the amendments and the changes that might be made. Next up was Anderson's interview with Bernie Sanders about what was wrong with the GOP healthcare bill, making changes to the ACA and Trump's comment "Let ObamaCare fail."

The fourth segment began with part two of Anderson's interview with Sanders and then Manu Raju with the news that the Senate Judiciary dropped the subpoena for Paul Manafort. Anderson and Raju discussed Kushner, Trump Jr., the Russia investigation and was rudely interrupted by the National Weather Service issuing a Tornado Warning for nearby counties. At my place there was only about 15 minutes of rain plus some minor flashes and small boomers.

Gary Tuchman reported on "Trump Supporters On His Attacks Against Sessions, Russia Probe" from a rally in Youngstown Ohio. I heard a lot of typical Trumpian parrot responses from typical Trump supporters. Tuchman later told Anderson '...it was like going through a time machine, back to the campaign...' with chants of "Lock her up" and "Build a Wall".

After a commercial break the second hour started exactly the first did.

I don't like Anderson's brown suit jacket and black shirt combination; it looks awful.

@CAPPY - loved your comment yesterday about Jared Kushner looking like he's nine-years-old. He sounds like it too!

Anderson was adorable on Kelly today. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE CLIPS.

P.S., could you guys post the categories Anderson and AC360 are nominated in for the Emmys? Also he has multiple nominations for 60 mins too, including outstanding writing.

I am avoiding watching AC36 these days because between the health care vote and the trans ban, I need a break from Trump apologists.

Important point, none of the segments CNN or Anderson received nominations for involved Trump surrogates.
